I had a dental issue arise while visiting Port Orange for winter. I asked a friend and they suggested Port Orange family dentistry. They were able to fit me in quickly . The staff is friendly and professional. Doctor Powers was also friendly and professional. He explained my options and was able to solve my issue. I would recommend them to others.

I was really nervous about having a crown replaced as it had been years since I needed anything other than a cleaning. Whole procedure went smoothly with very little pain

Took my husband here to get his teeth pulled, after another office tried to charge my husband $800 for unnecessary needs. This other office requires patience to pay for plugs for each tooth removed, which insurance doesn't cover, and this other place doesn't allow a waiver of that service. Imagine that, forcing people to take a service, or suffer. They also charged $110 more for each tooth they were pulling. POFD were so accommodating, professional, honest, transparent, and FAST! He had 10 teeth removed, and they were in, and out, of his mouth within 30 minutes. Explained each line of charges in detail, and made sure we knew exactly how much the insurance paid, and what amount was left for the year, should be need additional services. His cost, $0!!!! The last place, $800!! It was those plugs! They are stealing from people. That is the ONLY place that REQUIRES you to do it, everyone else offers it, but it's not required. If you're insurance doesn't pay for something, it's because it's not necessary, it's just a suggestion. Thank you POFD for your honesty, and integrity! My husband is doing amazing, and is recovering well, thanks to all of you!

I can't say enough good about this dental office. We called for an appointment for a tooth that was in horrible pain. They had him one day later. They did a through exam, did exactly what my husband needed and wanted done. They did not try to talk him into anything extra. They took care of his tooth right than. He was there for all of an hour and his tooth was fixed, he was pain free. The entire staff were very friendly and very professional. They have gained a new patience. We wouldn't go anywhere else. I highly recommend this dental office. We definitely won't be going to any other dentist. Thank you for taking such good of my husband so quickly and professionally. If I could give this office 10 stars, I would absolutely do so.

scam artists told me I needed FIVE FILLINGS, I just moved here. Got a second opinion and I had ZERO cavities. These doctors are not just bad, but malicious and will drill your teeth out to steal your money.

Dr. Powers is a good dentist. His staff are nice. I go for cleanings with Marilee and she does a thorough job we have a good time. Definitely recommend. Definitely popular as the schedule is pretty long out.

Really like the current dentist. He runs the practice in a professional manner. I enjoy the way he communicates with patients. He doesn’t interrupt me when I am speaking and responds appropriately to my questions. (He listens). The staff seems comfortable working there because they are always genuinely kind. We have to pay for our treatments out of pocket but the office bills delta dental for us and the reimbursement checks arrive before our credit card payment is due. My gum health has improved and I am not being pressured to pay extra for cleanings beyond the 2 times annual covered by my insurance.

I am absolutely terrified of the dentist. So bad that it has been so many years. My teeth were just horrible from the moment I walked in and was greeted by the staff. I knew it was gonna be a great experience. The dental hygentest was beyond amazi, needed a lot of work done. The dentist made time on my first visit to Crown. My 4 front, the has the most amazing bedside. I'd manner.The nurses are great.I just cannot say how amazing they are.I am no longer terrified of the dentist and I will be a lifetime patient

Dr. Song was very professional and his entire staff are the best I’ve ever experienced. I had a crown come off a molar and Dr.Song’s office got me in quickly and offered solutions. This was my second visit for teeth cleaning, both times A+++. While I was waiting (I was early) a woman visiting from Poland walked in with a toothache. The kindness of the staff, and getting her cared for was clearly the top priority and that isn’t always the case when someone has no appointment or insurance. I highly recommend this office.
