WARNING!!... Do NOT take your child to see Dr. Tabby!! I took my 12 year old daughter in to get a tooth extracted, and we ended up walking out and not doing it afterall. It was the most unprofessional experience that you could imagine. Dr. Tabby did not want to answer any of my questions or explain the procedure at all. Any time I would ask her a question since she wasn't letting us know what to expect or what she was doing, she would roll her eyes and not answer the question I was asking. She would act annoyed that we wanted to know what to expect. Her assistant and her would roll their eyes at eachother right in front of my daughter and I. She kept forcing the laughing gas on my daughter even though she was having a bad reaction to it and didnt feel comfortable.
Dr. Tabby then decided to tell my daughter that she needs to let go of control and try not to always be in control everything and then she would do better with the laughing gas!
Is she serious!!!!
My husband and I have been going to SC Dentak for over 15 years and have never had an experience like this! We love Dr. Boyd! Although, my daughter and I are seriously tramatized after our visit with Dr. Tabby today! We will NEVER go see her again! She is the most unprofessional Dentist! Very dissapointed!!

Receptionist is nice and the xray guy was friendly. I don't even know the name of the dentist I was there to see because after 3 appointments for an out-of-pocket crown, I saw her for maybe 20 mins. I had a cracked tooth and got in quickly that same day, so that was lucky. The dentist saw me and shaved the cracked tooth, took a mold, and they put on a temp. Next time i come in and it's the assistant lady, and she can't shave the crown down enough, and i keep telling her, "It's too high it's too high." She tells me to bite down, and it cracks in my mouth, and she has the audacity to say, "Well, not that hard. " Ok, well, it would have cracked regardless at some point bc you didn't listen to me. So i need another temp and another crown and another appointment. The third time i see a male assistant I've never seen before, he checks to see if it fits, shaves it down, but didn't clean my mouth before cementing it in. I should have said something but figured he knew what he was doing... but then i remembered even the assistant lady cleaned my mouth prior. 1200$ out of pocket and I worry when it will rot out of my face lol. Sick.

Dr. Boyd has been my dentist for years. I enjoy his attitude and definitely everyone that works there. A great experience every time that I've needed him and I have had some major work over the years. A loyal customer for sure.

Okay, full disclosure, I hate the dentist, absolutely loathe it. I called SC dental and was assigned to Dr. Austin. I only had a referral to this office, but not a particular doctor. I could tell everyone how she is a person you can tell immediately is quality people, and someone you can feel good around, but most people are only interested in the quality of service.

well, to start, the front staff were incredible. Even with my insurance being a pain, they consistently kept in contact with me, especially Kelsey. I appreciate that personalized service. The techs when you are brought in the back, very friendly and upbeat, and as someone like me who hates the thought of dental work, they even made me feel good, sorry guys, but I forget the names, but thank you.

Now, Dr. Austin, as stated, high quality compassionate lady......and a doctor I would trust with all my family members. She gets right to work, is very efficient, but still takes the time to make sure the patient is doing okay. I can honestly say, I got very lucky when I was assigned to her.

For the first time ever, my apprehensions about the dentist, are much lower. I had been to another local dentist, and walked out, I am going back to Dr. Austin and SC dental for all my work from now on

Dr. Taby and all the dental assistants are great. Was able to get a broken crown removed, replaced and put into place within a week.

Liking my new dentist!
Recently I changed insurance plans and had to find a new dentist.
A friend referred Dr. Boyd and this office to me and I'm so glad she did.
After having a couple of very negative experiences with other dental facilities, I needed to find an honest and good dentist.
Dr. Boyd is friendly, communicates very well and knows what he's doing.
They will explain everything and not pressure you into spending more than you can afford. Knowing your plan helps and having the billing codes is a good idea. No surprises if you do your homework.
I felt welcomed and appreciated by everyone at this office.

Greatest Dentist. I am from New York, moved here few years ago. Went to few places before I was referred to Dr Boyd. Since finding Dr Boyd and his team, I will not be going anywhere else. The whole team is great, especially Dee.

I read some reviews and am surprised to see anything negative about any of the staff members. Dee, has helped me out with payment options and has explained everything to me thoroughly. Jenn, is another one who is great.

Dr Boyd, takes his time with you and checks every so often to make sure you are comfortable. He listens to you and your situation and is an excellent dentist.

Danny is great, the hygienist is great. Will continue to come to this dentist.

If there is someone who post a negative review, most likely they're at fault for not caring about their own hygiene and become disgruntle when they do not have any options but the worse senecirio.

I read a review about their prices and find them very fair. Plus they offer the VIP for a few dollars which saves you lots of money in the long run so I suggest you get on their VIP. I pay cash and they are very fair with me and help me with cost depending on what treatments I am getting.

Dr. Boyd was great but the problem is with his office manager. She was very rude, aggressive and unprofessional. After we met with her to discuss some issues as being billed for a procedure I didn't have and not getting a receipt or being credited for $35 cash my husband gave one of the front office ladies. She said there was no record of it and said we were calling someone in her office of being a thief. She even refused to allow us to meet with Dr. Boyd to discuss our concerns.
