I am a huge fan of Katy Chee and Resilient Physical Therapy. I began suffering from back pain and subsequent sciatica in September. I suffered for three months with the situation worsening weekly until I connected with Katy. Within 2-3 weeks of working with Katy (once/week live sessions plus executing daily prescribed exercises), I began to feel relief. And now, six weeks later, I am pain free. I am still working on strengthening, but I have full mobility and no pain. Katy is exceptional at diagnosing the problem area and then putting a plan of action in place to address it. Katy uses every minute of our hour-long sessions to understand where my body is at that week and then follows up on email with a clear set of prescribed exercises for the upcoming week. If I ever have questions about my exercises, Katy responds quickly. I can't say enough positive things about Katy. I feel so grateful to be under her care and I highly recommend Resilient PT.

I have recently begun seeing Katy Chee (Doctor of Physical Therapy) at her new practice on Cole Street, and I cannot say enough about the exceptional, comprehensive care she provides. I initially came to her seeking relief for a persistent knee issue, and Katy's holistic approach quickly revealed that my back and core strength were also contributing factors that requried attention.

I saw Katy for a few sessions starting 6 weeks before I was set to run a marathon and I would highly recommend her! She was able to immediately identify what was causing me hip pain and gave me exercises to improve stability and core strength which alleviated my pain and overall improved my running form. I’d initially been hesitant to seek professional help because I was worried they’d tell me to not run my marathon and Katy never once suggested it. I was able to run my marathon pain free and hit my goal time!

Resilient Physical Therapy & Wellness has been terrific! I had an ACL rupture and MCL tear in my knee - and Katy Chee has been brilliant in helping me regain my full range of motion and strengthen my leg to prepare for ACL reconstruction surgery. She is very well connected with and respected by multiple orthopedic surgeons in San Francisco (the surgeons ask for her inputs and guidance with my progress based on my treatments to help make decisions on surgery). She is extremely professional and really good at what she does - and has helped get excellent results. Katy has also been really helpful and flexible with timing of appointments to meet my schedule needs. In addition, post surgery Katy has been incredible in customizing a recovery program to get me back to biking within a few weeks, running within a few months, and fully mobile quickly. The facility is also terrific with a lot of space with great equipment. I would strongly recommend Katy Chee and her practice.

Katy was great. She targeted the demands of my job and the specific stresses that firefighters endure. I was recovering from knee surgery but I feel the work outs we did benefited my entire body. Katy Chee is a miracle worker. I literally went from so much pain in my legs from a slipped disk pressing on nerve, to dancing in the park in three months. Before I met Katy, I was in a surgeon’s office looking at my MRI. He was scheduling me for surgery, but the timeline didn’t work. Fortunately, I was given a Physical Therapy referral. The stars were aligned when I picked the office of Katy Chee. My goal was to be able to walk to an office, but it was not an easy task. Everything in my lower body hurt, and drugs weren’t helping. She talked to me at length about my pain, my previous activities, what position I slept in and then she created exercises for me to do each week. The exercises were not easy for me to do, especially at first, but I could tell I was getting stronger. Each session she tweaked the exercises as I slowly improved. This process did not happen overnight. I worked very hard, BUT I never believed I could be pain free, which I am now. Her program was so focused to my needs, and the exercises worked. Katy is committed to your success.
