I have only been a patient of hers for 4 months but I’m definitely changing my primary physician to someone else. The staff NEVER answers the phone, they take hours, sometimes days to respond to your needs. As a doctor office that NEVER answers their phone lines makes me feel unsafe and not a priority as a patient. Secondly, I also had a few discrepancies with having my prescriptions sent in when I asked multiple times. Avoid going here if you have the option.

UNBELIEVABLE, in the worst interpretation of the word. I have been a patient since 2015 and the quality of care has decreased exponentially. In my most recent experience, I needed to make an appointment so I called several times over the span of 3 weeks and was greeted by a voice message stating "We will return your call within 30 minutes." As lovely as that sounds, that did not happen. I have yet to receive a phone call 3 weeks later! Even more appalling is that this is not the first time this has happened. I stopped by during her office's hours of operation to make an appointment in person and received nasty and condescending treatment from both the receptionist and doctor. In fact, the doctor told me that I needed to "make my health a priority" implying that I should continuing calling hoping someone answer the call so that I can make an appointment. No, her office should pick up the phone. Much more happened but rehashing the full encounter would triple the length of this review.

I later emailed the doctor and received a smug and dismissive response. It is clear that Dr. Ada del Rivero-Yamuy does not care about the treatment of her clients, existing or new. I discovered people in her waiting room also had similar stories. This business is violating the medical community's code of ethics and standard of practice.

Save yourself the frustration and find a doctor with proper patient care ethics. I have reported Dr. Ada del Rovero-Yamuy to multiple grievances boards and recommend the other reviewers do the same.

Go to a different doctor. I am very frustrated with her and recieved little to no help recently. She never called in a prescription I needed which was the whole point of our phone appt. I reminded her over and over by leaving msgs and txting the number to reach her at. This was over a two week span. No one answers her office phone. Her staff is nice though when I get ahold of them. My insurance needed to talk to her about authorizing an MRI for my back which I desperately need help with. She never bothered to even talk to them let alone get back to me as she said she would. The imaging center also needed to get ahold of her in regards to my MRI. Several messages were left and the imaging place said I definitely need someone who can communicate better. She never called them back either. Cvs repeatedly sent her notifications about my meds. She just blows me off on everthing i need help with. She doesn't do her part after she explains a plan of action. I have come to the conclusion this doctor doesn't care about helping me. Thanks for nothing. I can't even get my meds and help i need. She will return your phone call right away for an appt though. It feels like she just took my money and ran. What a joke

I had a great visit with Dr. Rivero-Yamuy. It was my first time seeing her and the paperwork was simple and the wait was short. She went through everything with me thoroughly and was pleasant to talk to. I also enjoyed her office staff, everyone was very nice and worked well with me and together.

After my blood test, they didn't even call me to say it is ready. I just waited and waited and still no call. So I went in there 2 months after, to get my results. In addition, they didn't even call me to remind me to get my second round of shots for Hepb or even scheduled the appointment for that..

In addition, they wanted to charge me an administration fee for administrating the vaccine for me. Wtf?! I called my insurance and they said they shouldn't be charging me anything because the doctor wasn't counseling me .. Just giving me vaccines.

If anyone can recommended a good doctor in the palms area, please message me! This has been my 5th doctor change 🙁

Dr. Del Rivero Yamuy is an extremely caring and compassionate doctor. I am so fortunate to be under her care - she takes her time to listen to your concerns and explains everything with great detail. Very intelligent, kind and professional.

Haven't been able to get ahold of the doctor's office in 7 days. Have called and left a message each day. Either understaffed, not trained well, etc. Something isn't right. What a bummer because they were near my home. 🙁
