This hospital is some good some bad. The staff hospitalist are great. But the case managers/ social workers are awful. When your family is in the hospital and you’re emotional and stressed out if anything they should be kind to you. Help families. Instead they lie to you about care. Provide zero help after they say they will. And pressure you. I drove around all day looking for a rehab facility because she (Christine) wanted my dad moved that day. After the dr told me he could stay a couple days if I needed time to make arrangements for him. This is the second time I have had an awful experience with this department. She told me that I needed to pay for transport but had no idea how much it costs. Couldn’t get an estimate. Nothing. So is it $10? Or $1500? I asked she said they will bill me. All because she wanted him transferred on Thursday when I work and couldn’t wait until Friday morning when I don’t. I asked who the company was so I could call for an estimate and she said she didn’t know. Then proceeded to tell me the conversation was going no where and she was gonna hang up? Why couldn’t she wait until Friday morning? The dr said it was fine? Why would anyone agree to pay for something with no clue what the cost was? Moral of the story when you need people to help you during a time of emotional distress don’t expect to get it from these people. My dad will not go back to Willamette Falls again.

We were treated by Dr Lindsay Ballard. My son who is a college grad, works full time, trains in martial arts was treated as if he were a drug addled criminal for requesting two doses of an anxiety medication he has taken for years. He forgot to call his doc for his monthly refill and needed two pills until he could teach his regular doc.
He was given one pill and forced to take it immediately although he only takes it in the evening at home.
She acted in a primitive and indecent manner and should not be called a care giver. She needs to find another line of work. The entire visit was moronic.
Providence has many problems without having someone like her treating patients.

Absolutely horribly run place. My roomie came in for non stop vomiting after a surgery. The doctor told her it was because she smoked weed and refused to listen when she said she had stopped. She asked them to look at her leg and they blew her off. Finally her leg opened up and we went to OHSU. They said she was only a day or two away from sepsis. This hospital almost killed her. Avoid it at all costs. They also have a habit of discharging you too early. They almost killed someone else by discharging her before the tests came back. They ended up having to call her back because she was having a heart attack.

Ok so my mother had spent the last couple days having stomach problems,(vomiting and diarrhea). She finally decided that it was time to seek medical services due to not being able to keep any food or fluids down.
Upon arrival to the ER she didn't have any problems with unreasonable wait times to be seen and all the hospital staff seemed pleasant enough. That was until she met her nurse who would be looking after her while there in the ER. This guy was without a doubt the worst behaved "medical professional" I have ever had the displeasure of dealing with. Mind you I understand that the job comes with stress and can be a bit overwhelming for staff at times. That being said this guy was way out of line.
He started off by demanding a urine sample claiming that he would do NOTHING to help my mother until she gave said sample. He even went as far as to follow her to the bathroom, wait outside the door, and accused her of not even trying when she came back out unable to pee. This is where I become extremely confused. Instead of getting an IV started to give her fluids thus helping to get him the sample he needed he scolded her about how "it shouldn't matter if she has been puking that last couple days she should still be able to pee." I'm sorry if you spent two days not able to keep any fluids down you probably would have a difficult time peeing as well.
The terrible aditude continued for the remainder of her stay till she couldn't deal with it anymore. She was so fed up she just got up and left. Something needs to be done bout this place. I mean just look at the bad reviews people are leaving, they outnumber all other reviews. I'm very disappointed and will be calling someone tomorrow am to ensure this guy is dealt with asap

Avoid this hospital. The care I received here was fine, no real issues there, mainly because my situation wasn’t critical. However, 9 months later and I’m still receiving random text and email bills from connected labs or technicians from this facility. I have to do extensive legwork to check that they’re not scams because they certainly appear to be. I have insurance and I paid the bill that came from my insurance company for the amount they wouldn’t pay. But then there are just….extra surprise bills?! Are there more? Who knows! I would never come back to this hospital and frankly this experience has made it likely I’ll avoid any hospital visit in the future.

Getting ready for knee surgery, needed EKG and blood work done. Went in to the main entrance for the hospital, was greeted by the greeter checked in, asked to wait in the lobby and then I would be called back to the office, so I sat there for about 20 to 30 minutes, another patient (couple) came in and was waiting, finally I had to go to the restroom, nodded to the greeter as I walked by, came back and watched the other couple get called back into the office, few minutes later they came back out and was sitting there waiting and another woman came in and I over heard that she also was there for a EKG! She sat down and within minutes she was called back to the office but never came back out by this time I’m wondering why I haven’t been called back yet, I walk up to the greeter again and start to ask her what, when she asked me, you haven’t been called back yet!! No! She makes a call to the office about 5 minutes later I’m finally called in! Was told that they called for me twice!! Tells me it will be a couple minutes sign something, ( which I don’t know what I signed) didn’t care at this point! Was rudely talked to and was told to wait in the next waiting room area.. I went in there when the lady that supposedly called for me twice starts bad mouthing me to her coworker !! I get up and confront her about it and ask for her boss!! Wasn’t very impressed with her either!!

If Providence hospital states that “ You are there top priority” there employees sure don’t show it!!!

There whole demeanor is anything but customer priority!! They don’t even get up out of their chairs to get you to come into the office, they just yell for you! The 45+ minutes waiting I only saw one person come out of the office and they were packing files and went into a room and then returned.. The whole experience was just infuriating!!!
