I was scheduled with my regular doctor to review my abdomen ultrasound results that she ordered. I was rescheduled randomly for two hours later with a random person who was not a doctor. It said “Mr. Aziz” on my appointment. I logged on for my appointment and he never logged onto our telehealth appointment. He called an hour later, around 6:30 PM. I asked him to review my results from my ultrasound. He said “oh yeah I can’t interpret the results”, when the reason for the appointment was to go over what my ultrasound results meant. I have never met with such an incompetent provider. He said my results didn’t tell him anything and said they all looked normal. I asked if he had a copy of my results and he said yes. I told him that in bold letters it said “IMPRESSIONS” and specified abnormalities. I asked him about what it said in that section and he said there was no impression he could have based on my results.
When looking at my blood work, I had elevated triglycerides and he said “everything looks great”. I said my numbers were not normal on my blood work and asked if he was looking at my most recent labs and gave him the date. He said “can you see your numbers”? And I said I could and asked if he could. He said yes and everything had been normal. My triglycerides had been at 450 when the threshold is less than 150. I said it’s out of normal range and he kept saying “oh can you see your labs” and I asked many times if he was able to see them. He insisted yes but clearly wasn’t looking at my lab results.
I have never had an office schedule me for hours later with a different provider without as much as a phone call.
I have never dealt with someone so incompetent as Aziz. He didn’t look at any of my labs and couldnt tell me what simple blood work meant.
Additionally, my roommate got randomly rescheduled with him the same day without a call to let her know that she would be seeing a different provider. When she asked him about simple blood work results, he was also unable to answer questions such as what “zoster” was on her blood work.
Can’t believe they would employ someone so incredibly incompetent and clearly without proper medical training.
Even when I looked at my results I could tell that there was an abnormality. He kept saying he could see my blood work and my ultrasound and that there was no information.
I brought up elevated levels and abnormal enzymes on my tests. He said “oh I don’t see anything”
I am confident he was not looking at my results at all. He was at a different location than my doctor and couldn’t interpret anything on my results.
Beware of this Aziz. If I had listened to him I wouldn’t have followed up with a GI doctor and wouldn’t have been able to make the proper lifestyle adjustments to improve my health.
I am truly shocked by how little he knew about simple blood work. Pathetic and embarrassing.
