Dr Hum is great. Exam is straightforward. Check-in process is frustrating as they make you fill out a long analog form full of requested details they already have on file as a return customer. They surely could pre-populate the form.

I literally cried tears of joy when I left my appointment here. I’ve been going to a small shop optometrist for the last 5+ years and, like an idiot, I thought it would be better than going to LensCrafters, a chain store. I couldn’t have been more wrong. My prescriptions were getting progressively worse over the years, as I was repeatedly (and unknowingly) mismeasured- and in one stop here I can see perfectly again. The equipment is brand-new and state of the art, basically making my prescription foolproof. The optometrist added to the experience, tailoring my prescription and my contact lenses to my specific needs and experiences. She also took time to explain my imaging; on a system that is generations better than what they use at my local shop. My old optometrist was well-meaning but this is your VISION! I am crazy for not coming here sooner!

My 18 year old said it was the most comprehensive eye exam he’s had. He’d know. He has serious eyesight issues. Dr Hum explained everything and explained the new technology. The staff is wonderful. Thorough and kind. My 18 year old is gifted, trans, shy, and in the autism spectrum. They are also very tech and science oriented. I could tell they got comfortable fast.The lovely young woman who did the preliminary exam and Dr. Hum were impressive with my kid. It was as if they were trained to interact with autism. Knew all the right approaches! And were really genuinely friendly as they interacted with them. I was so impressed, both with the technical skill and the interpersonal skills!

I had a very quick eye exam and contact fitting here. I struggled to put in my contacts in the first appointment, Usama at the front desk was extremely helpful to reschedule a second fitting before I left town and Brandon was patient to help me get them in! Make sure to schedule in advance for fittings because the appointments fill up quickly.
