This establishment should be permanently shut down due to its appalling treatment of residents and their families. A particularly egregious incident occurred when a family sought clarification regarding the medications of a resident who was suffering from a serious infection that posed a significant risk of sepsis. Instead of providing the necessary information and support, the administration displayed a shocking lack of professionalism and empathy, failing to address the family's legitimate concerns.

The staff's behavior was equally unacceptable; they were not only rude and incompetent but also exhibited a complete lack of advocacy for the patient and his family. Rather than engaging in a constructive dialogue or offering assistance, the facility administrator merely instructed the nurse, Brent, to leave the area, effectively dismissing the family's worries. This response is indicative of a broader culture within the establishment that prioritizes convenience over patient care and family involvement.

Brent, in particular, demonstrated multiple instances of dishonesty, which further eroded the trust that the family had in the care being provided. His unwarranted disrespect towards the family was not only unprofessional but also deeply hurtful, especially during a time when they were understandably anxious about their loved one's health. Such behavior is unacceptable in any healthcare setting, where compassion and clear communication are paramount.

In light of these serious shortcomings, it is clear that this establishment is not equipped to provide the level of care that residents and their families deserve. The combination of poor staff conduct, lack of accountability from the administration, and a failure to prioritize patient advocacy creates an environment that is not only unsafe but also detrimental to the well-being of those it is meant to serve. Therefore, it is imperative that this establishment be permanently shut down to prevent further harm to vulnerable individuals and their families.

So, my son is a recent resident at long-term care at Springs of Searcy. He is calmer than I expected and is adjusting to his surroundings in a small and
secured
unit. While it is a big adjustment for
him, his days are filled with several nice and competent employees who have went above and beyond their job responsibilities during his transition process. With a heart of gratitude for the Springs of Searcy, I can sleep at night and with a refreshed and confident countenance can visit and love him as the Mother he has always known. Beyond grateful…

My mother had a stroke after having a stroke following a heart procedure. She was in here for 3 weeks never saw a bit of progress. Most of cnas were very polite and helpful. But like most everywhere they are short stafed and sometimes my mother did have to lay in pee and poop for longer than she should. And it took them a while to get her on a bed pan. Please dont send your loved ones here..

It is a great place but disappointed that my husband has to wait so long to be changed when he poops his pants. He can't get up and I don't want him getting sores from it being on him to long. Sometimes it has been an hour wait. Food has also been cold or made to hard for him to eat, when he is able to eat. I wish there were 2 aides to a hall then pne could cover while the other helps if needed.
