My Mom has been a resident of The Pines of Clarkston for two months, and the entire staff have been wonderful helping her to adjust and feel at home. I was extremely reluctant to move Mom from her home to an assisted living situation; however, every question and concern I had has been answered completely and promptly.
On each of my visits, I have found the staff to be very caring and attentive to each resident during every hour of the day. And there are different activities daily, led by qualified and enthusiastic staff, who provide positive encouragement and fun to the residents.
The entire facility is well maintained and there is a wonderful housekeeper on staff to clean the residents’ rooms daily.
The residents’ meals are excellently prepared, with well balanced, delicious, and varied menus three times each day.
I am pleased to be able to rate The Pines Of Clarkston with all five stars!

My mother-in-law took up residence in the Memory Care facility a little over a year ago. My wife and I haven't seen her this happy in years! The staff is great: friendly us, engaging our mom, and responsive to our requests. The facility is clean, homey and great for her well-being. We're so thankful for the staff of the Pines of Clarkston and glad to have our mom there.

if I could put zero stars I would. There are bed bugs, the plumbing is so messed up the toilets back up and laundry for the residence can’t be done. It‘s so dirty there are flies everywhere. As someone who has seen the place inside and out I strongly advise against bring your loved one here, the caregivers are alright but the building itself has ceiling leaks, incompetent management, sewage floods, the pond is a health hazard, etc. please take my experience into account when looking for services here

I can’t say enough about The Pines of Clarkston. I hesitate to refer to it as a facility as it is truly a home away from home. The staff are not only dedicated to their jobs but, to the care of residents. This is nothing short of a family. The bond between staff and residents is amazing and full of compassion, love and understanding. What an amazing atmosphere ❤️

The best place! I wish people would take the bad/untrue reviews down. Since Kristal has taken over, my mother is so happy! Best care around, and we've been in 3 assisted livings in the past 2 years. The staff is amazing! All of the families are very happy!

My grandma lived in the assisted living building and was a great place for her to be. The staff was friendly and loving with her and with our family. Kristal there went went above and beyond for our family.

No star if possible. They need a change in management. Also they are being reported to state asap. Leaving residents in one spot for4+ hours then wonder why shes soaked in her brief or wonder why her legs are bothering her. 😩 When visiting I've seen a lady taking care of majority of the residents while the other lady sits on her cell phone. Smh. Unprofessional. This place honestly needs to close down if they arent get competent employees/management.
