From the minute my son and I walked in the door, we knew we were going to get the best treatment possible! My son was being treated for an acl/mcl sprain. It was upsetting to him because he’s an active child who is always on go, but with the magnificent help from Pamela Conroy he was able to successfully complete his treatment. She not only educated him on the importance of therapy and what could happen if he didn’t follow through, she encouraged him to shim to do better to get better. Pamela is hands down an amazing woman who goes above and beyond for her patients. All the staff were very kind and courteous, the facility was very clean, they all worked together as a team, and always had a smile on their face. This company is truly amazing and so are the tunes playing on the radio. I would recommend this facility to anyone in need of therapy services! Thank you so much for all you did for my boy Pamela, it hasn’t gone unnoticed!

Lucas and the staff at St. Luke’s Physical Therapy Pottsville are simply fantastic.From the day I started PT, Lucas was so positive and supportive as I began this journey and provided me with researched based therapy to improve my neurological issues and my quality of life.

Every single person that works at St Luke's physical therapy in Pottsville is amazing everyone is involved and pushes you to your best ability. My physical therapist Robert Wozniak pushed me to points that I never knew were possible to achieve. As I reflect back on the past two years of Physical Therapy at St Luke’s Pottsville; it is an excellent facility staffed by very professional, well educated and trained therapists.

From the start of my journey and beginning with Carolyn Dunkleberger, PT/DPT; I knew I had chosen the best place for my thoracic and lumbar recovery. Carolyn invested her education and training to help me ambulate with more ease and help solve the many mysteries of living with chronic pain daily. It was very challenging at times for me but she treated me with the utmost respect and professionalism anyone could ask. She took a deep personal interest into my journey and stood by my side throughout. Starting at a level one and continuing to grow together, she was my personal cheerleader who helped me stay positive about my recovery and understand my restrictions and limitations on a daily basis.

Fast forward a year later and while transitioning to additional therapy with Abby Stumpf, PTA (OPTA - Student). As much as you might think someone with less letters after their name is a little risky; fear no more. While Abby has the training necessary to continue my journey with me, she also took a personal commitment towards furthering her education. Thus, through SLPT-Education she was able to apply her evidence-based knowledge and incorporate her training towards my positive therapy growth focused on my body’s core, ability to ambulate and focus on additional ways to handle chronic pain.

Between both females at this location, I am proud to say that my time for graduation is coming near. Both of these professionals commitment to their excellence in there field truly gave me the ability to continue to grow both physically and mentally. It is without a doubt that I am able to ambulate with more ease (of course with an assistive device) and know my limitations going forward and how to mentally and physically handle chronic pain.

I will not be pain free but I certainly know where my journey with therapy began and where I’m headed, forward!

Whenever I enter St. Luke’s Pottsville, Maecada promptly and kindly greets me and signs me in for my appointment. Pam has been my PT at St.. Luke’s for over a year. I worked with her at her previous facility and followed her when she moved to St. Luke’s. She always talk with me about my care plan, the treatment she will be doing and our anticipated goals. Pam is always professional, yet offers a personal element to her approach that nurtures a sense of trust. Pam has seen me through many rounds of successful PT and I will continue to rely on her expertise during my current therapy.
I have also had the privilege of working with Carolyn and Abby, who are both very skilled and encouraging. Lucas has never been my PT, but he undoubtedly adds a friendly, supportive component to the office. Long story short -> I unequivocally recommend St. Luke’s Pottsville!

All of the staff are great! Personable and very knowledgeable. Level of care and compassion is top notch. Lucas is a great physical therapist. I was referred there after a car accident and had a difficult injury to treat but I have received amazing results with their care. Facilities are clean and welcoming. Everyone there takes the time to get to know each of their patients and it shows. Highly recommend.

The entire staff is very welcoming and friendly. I am always greeted with a smile and feel very comfortable in the laid back, yet professional environment. I have chronic ankle pain, and Lucas and Abby have been very thorough, making sure I understand what is causing the pain, and how the exercises I am doing are specifically targeting the problem area to strengthen the muscles, which will help with the pain and weakness. I would highly recommend Lucas, Carolyn, Pam, and Abby to anyone needing physical therapy.
