My grandmother figure stayed here for a few weeks, it was amazing! The staff are amazing! Except for one CNA with glasses (I know many have glasses, unfortunately I don’t know the young woman’s name), she spoke to her like she was less than nothing, so mean and LOUD for no reason at all. Further observation she was like this with all. She should never be able to preform care on another human being. Other than her, she was so happy, stated she felt at home and felt safe, thank you guys for all You do!

First of all…I wouldn’t send my worse enemy to that place…
I don’t know where to start it’s that bad!!! My husband is blind, needs dialysis….
He was there for 2 weeks and my husband couldn’t wait to get out of there! They had more excuses not to give him therapy first his blood pressure to low…then his heart was irregular what do they do instead of finding out the cause they kept saying take this pill without finding out reason why this is happening and if you are having these issues why don’t you check on him! He lays there for 5 1/2 hours with no one checking up on him! And then to change him it takes 45 minutes and I find aids drawing on each others arms instead of attending to to your patients
Then another example husband is blind and they are aware of it they dropped food off without saying here is your food and help him since he is out of his place of comfort which is home and they serve him cold food!
Then one aide was not happy with him at night and took away his call button so she wouldn’t be bothered!
So must I say more…….

My elderly mother became very ill with covid then community-acquired pneumonia. She became very weak unable to care for herself and in need of strengthening. I am grateful Oasis Pavilion Nursing and Rehabilitation had a bed for her as she was discharged from the hospital. Yes, I have heard a myriad of negative views regarding the care. My mother was a patient there many years ago and the experience was not the greatest then. Yes, I was skeptical. My mother was discharged to home care yesterday after three weeks of care at Oasis. I am very well pleased with the care mom received. The words I have are not enough to express my, and my family's gratitude. The therapy team is world-class! Sarah, Esmeralda, and Jocelyn were my mom's primary therapists. They often checked in on her as they were between patients. They observed, assessed and gave my mom the right push with the kindest words to give it her all. Their encouragement and applauding feedback made mom work hard when she was able to. Mom has had therapy and spent time at other facilities in the valley. None of them compare, which leads me to the nursing staff. The nurses were prompt in giving her meds especially when mom needed them for her pain. The CNAs did the bulk of mom's care. They changed and cleansed her promptly. Mom was not always aware of soiling and these wonderful ladies checked often making sure mom remained dry and comfortable. Kelcey and Shelly and Amanda(so sorry about spellings ladies) and their fellow CNAs went far and beyond in ensuring mom was as well as could be to work on her therapies. Often I was late or unable to be there in person for her meals. They ensured her meals were easily accessible. The cafeteria staff and the meals they prepped for mom were outstanding too. Mom required a special prep and they went to bat for her. The kindness I witness with patients and residents deserves a 100% tip if it were allowed. The housekeeping staff was nothing short of amazing. Thank you, Mary! Aileen, thank you for helping me understand other patients. Your experience in life working with patients is invaluable! George was instrumental in my understanding of her care and discharge plan. I needed that education and I can not say enough about his professionalism. Thank you Jubilee for helping me out in understanding procedures. It was meaningful information that helped in her home care planning. George, keep that positivity and keep working for those patients and residents who deserve so much. You are a voice they need and that voice is obviously producing some great and positive adjustments. A nursing home is not the ideal place for the ill and the elderly to spend the rest of their lives. Please remember many of them are placed there and family and friends often forget about them. Feeling lonely and abandoned, knowing there is no one out there to come sit with you and chat, bring you flowers, play a card game, read to you creates a deep depression. Depression shortens life. My mom had me to spend time with her, conversate, listen, watch tv, hold her hand, encourage her. Most folks there do not have that positive reinforcement. The staff does very well by giving residents a bit of attention between tasks. The Oasis team provided my ill mother with the best care I have seen in the times she has needed inpatient rehabilitation therapies and care. I do not hesitate in stating I would have mom go there in a heartbeat if she needs it. I know Oasis will provide her the care, attention, and love she needs. Thank you to each one of you! You are a blessing to us and to this community! May God, the higher power if you will, continue to open your hearts to outstanding care and love for each of your residents and may you give yourselves encouragement and love. You know what you do. Take what you want of negativities if there is something to learn from them, and don't allow what does not belong to you to weigh you down! Each day is a new day with great opportunities and many challenges. They are both yours. Blessings!

My father is currently a patient in this facility. So I'm writing this on his behalf. Mr. Dodson. My father has praised this facility for it's exemplary services. From the food, to the activity center, to the patience of the staff. The people who run the programs and departments have all been incredible. The occupational and physical therapists are awesome! They've given him the push and momentum to work harder to regain his mobility back. Their kindness and their patient service has instilled a lot of trust and security within him. As he was falling down the therapist quick and responsive reflexes helped him to not get further injured. Anyone who says anything bad about Oasis hasn't wanted the help to begin with. Before my father is released I know he'll be able to walk on his own two feet again with confidence due to the incredible help of all the staff. I know my father is in great hands and great care because of the great teamwork of all the staff, and amazing nurses! Thank you Oasis and God bless you all for your services. -"Tiny"

I lost my 26 year old son 6/1/24 the next day I broke both my ankles, both had plates and screws and then was brought to Oasis from the hospital. I was a mess not only from the pain of my ankles but from the loss of my son...the first few days were bad trying to get pain meds etc. right, but by the 3rd day they got it perfect...the whole while ALL the staff would listen to my broken heart and hugs always at the ready, all of them from nurses to Dietary, even activities, they all would set with me listening not leaving till I was done rambling and crying not one of them it meant so much...physical therapy and occupational therapy were awesome always patient but pushing to get you well, the Dietary people so nice working so hard to get you a hot meal if you don't like what's for that day there's a bunch of other things you can order, MY whole experience during my 2 month stay wasn't perfect or I'd be lying BUT Oasis as a whole was all I could ask for...10 out of 10 would recommend...and if you have a problem do speak up they listen and will discuss it with you and I promise they do listen and will meet you atleast half way....This is NOT the Oasis from years ago this Newer version is ALWAYS open to suggestions and try to do better in one way or another...Activities we can't forget them there's nails with the girls...trivia and bingo every other day, I painted a rock with my son's name and the dates on the back, grief hit me so hard I couldn't breathe, and one of the lady's came right to me got me to another room gave me the biggest hug and told me to breathe, again didn't leave me till I was okay...there's church on Saturday and Sunday and not on the TV. though they do that too...pastors and priests come to Oasis, my whole experience was awesome, Oasis has it's hiccups and the CNAs and Nurses sometimes get slammed with so many patients calling almost at once lol true story ? I'll be damn if they don't go into hyperdrive lol they seriously need roller skates...just saying...they do their best everyday, TO Oasis THANK YOU FOR ALL YOU DO !!! They even sit with the long term patients and talk with them while they eat or activities plays a game with them, especially when they don't have visitors often, they even took all the miss matched socks and put them in a little bin for this little old lady in her mid 90's so she can fold them, she also rearranges the book shelf...I will definitely go back should I need a nursing facility again..though this is a long review I still have so much more awesome stories of what my experience as a whole was...I am so thankful for everyone who let me grieve with dignity, never once made me feel like I was a bother, and to all the Nurses who do their best to get our meds in a timely manner, not to mention talking to the doctors keeping all of our complaints and concerns in your memory eventhough there's so many of us and only 1 of you lol......thank you to the caseworker who do your best to get us what we need before we leave even taking a homeless man to a shelter who said they would take him, I seen how much you do for all of us, even when your hands are tied, you still try, and for that I say Thank you Thank you Oasis Pavillion....And if you read this far there are MANY mommas/grandmas and some dads/papa's who only have the staff as family now, family too far or whatever, YOU could stop by and ask if there's a resident who could use a visitor, and adopt a parent or grandmother to visit on the regular, you would make somones day hear their stories ect. AND you high-school babies volunteer to the Pavillion play games paint some nails ? adopt a Grandma volunteer for bingo helpers...it looks awesome on college applications, just saying ? great stay here for my rehab, all the staff very professional. all very friendly and helpful. food service was great as well! Sure made me feel welcomed. It made my stay much more comfortable. Thank you Oasis.

My elderly friend was here off and on for almost a year. She was treated so horribly there that she ended up in the hospital with sepsis from lack of care of several infections. All they did was give her pills to make her sleep so they didn't have to deal with her. There were many times I would visit, and she would sit in urine or feces for hours. I would visit and ring the nurse for her to be changed, and no one would come. I would have to go find someone, and then they would have a horrible attitude. She was put on hospice at the hospital. She was so adamant that she not be sent back to that place that a week before she passed, the dr was going to send her back to Oasis, and she begged them. Not to send her back. She was sent to shea post acute in Scottsdale instead.. she passed away peacefully a week later. This place should be shut down.

This place needs to be shut down. My grandma was admitted here to work on her mobility following a heart attack. As her caregiver I decided to stay with her to make sure she received adequate care. I am so glad I did that because what I experienced under a 24 hour period there made us check her out immediately.
They didn’t check on her all night. Didn’t bring her breakfast. Didn’t get her a walker even after her evaluation that didn’t take place until the next day. No physical therapy on the weekends. Would wait hours to respond to call lights. She had double digit accidents that i had to handle on my own that they would have let her sit in for however long they chose. Not only was the staff stretched to the max and incapable of providing quality care to any resident but the manner in which some white male bald nurse was speaking to us was beyond unprofessional. He was rude and neglectful. He expressed in the most condescending tone how, “if we wanted better care than to go to pay for it.”. Not to mention the nurse there emptied the bedpan into the SINK! I found more than one type of bug and they don’t have a cleaning crew past 4pm so if anything needs to be disinfected it just isn’t until the following day. The structure of the building itself is garbage with water flooding the hallway from her room and when asked to fix it they said she would be unable to wash herself for 24 hours which if you have ever dealt with someone who struggles with incontinence you know is impossible unless you leave them in there own filth. They shrugged when I brought this up and fought me when I expressed that if that’s the case she would need a new room. I got the room only to find the call light broken and more bugs in her bed. We left soon after.
