Northvine Post Acute Care is a family-oriented place- sized like a big home, but a cozy home for the sick and the elderly. I like it for its size, its location ( where it rests in a residential neighborhood ) not far from the busy commercial area of Santa Rosa. I also like it for the beautiful smiles of the cheerful and charming people who provide care for those who need attention and help.

I have been working at Northvine Post Acute for 3 month's now and had worked for 2 years before during the Pandemic and i can say that in these 3 months i have seen a Major improvement specially with our CNA staffing and Nurses we are fully Staffed and have a very good Team and Compassionate Team. From IDT to Dietary, Housekeeping, maintenance and Specially to ouR Activities!! Activities is always keeping our Residents very busy with Excercise, Zumba in the chairs to BINGO and LOTERIA. To room visits Glam makeovers Manicures and much more!!!! I see how our Residents look forward to Activities daily or just stopping by to see what is going on daily in activities. I really enjoy dancing with the Residents i really look forward every morning when i go in to work to see one of our residents that enjoys dancing to anything that is playing or to another resident that enjoys singing to Oldies. I am definitely very Happy for the big changes ive seen specially in these 2 months.

I have had the opportunity to work here at Northvine for almost six months. I am regularly surprised by the dedication the staff have to provide the best care possible to the residents we get to care for.

I would give this dump negative stars if that were an option. It have a family member there and he is extremely neglected. He has high medical needs and is immobile. His condition has gotten worse and he is losing use of his one arm that worked because they refused to give him PT after he had a stroke. He can not even feed himself. They have denied him referrals to specialists and only allows him to see their staff doctor., which means an also negligent. He has been reduced to using a diaper because the of the lack of medical care and is left wet for hours at a time. He has gone weeks without a shower, I have to call and ask for them to bathe him. He couldn’t even get ice water during the heat wave. I live too far away to be there everyday. I had to call law enforcement to do a safety check on him because of the lack of response from staff. The other residents just sit in wheelchairs in the hallways. I won’t even get started on the food they serve. My dog wouldn’t even eat what they serve. A soggy bologna sandwich is not dinner. An attorney will be contacted if something doesn’t change.

I have a loved one staying here & honestly the majority of staff there are pretty great. Only 2 people seem to have issues and I'm pretty sure they are Admin not RN,CNA staff.
Yes there are things that need improvement but so far the medical staff I've seen are caring about the patients.

I was just recently sent there from a Petaluma valley hospital and let me tell you this place is so I'm organized and so unprofessional. They had a nurse here that purposely didn't give me my medicine which seizure medicine and then went around and told other CNA'S that my seizures were fake, which is very unprofessional. You guys should have better staff on your payroll. I feel very sorry for the people that are there because some of them can't even speak for themselves. Then you have staff flirting with other staff instead of doing their jobs. It's ridiculous. Hope this place gets under better management!!!
