I can't say enough about the exceptional care I’ve received at Carlton Family Practice, especially from APRN April. She is truly phenomenal in every aspect of her work. April has gone above and beyond to ensure I feel cared for, whether administering shots and IVs or providing a spray to help reduce inflammation in my body. She takes the time to listen to my concerns and has been there for me when I needed her the most. Her dedication is unmatched; she even offered to come directly to my home during an autoimmune flare, which is a level of care you simply can’t find anywhere else. If you’re looking for a provider who is willing to go above and beyond, I highly recommend Carlton Family Practice.

April is awesome and really listes to your needs. I was throwing throwing-up and couldn't even keep down liquids. As well as having debilitating headaches. After 2 1/2 days of that, I called April. She saw me immediately and set me up on an IV Hydration treatment. Within a few hours, I was feeling so much better and started keeping everything down. Highly Recommend!!!

My husband and I are working on getting healthier. We’ve been taking the weight loss shots from April for the past several months and have lost over 40 lbs each. April takes care to check in at each appointment and work with you to adjust lifestyle and food choices to accompany the shots. I’ve also gone in when sick and the hydration IVs helped a lot. April is very knowledgeable and caring

Dr. April is wonderful. She is so personable with her patients. She always takes her time, listens to you, and cares about how you feel. I have had trouble getting a good PCP to listen to my needs and concerns. Not one time did she dismiss anything I said. She understood, gave me the best advise, and communicated so well. . I absolutely would 100% recommend. I'm am beyond thankful she's my Dr.

Best doctor I’ve ever had. She listens to me. She goes with what she thinks is best, but also with what my opinion says to her, she really thinks my opinion matters is what I’m saying helps me a lot and working with her and my therapist is just it’s been amazing the life changing experiences I’ve had.

Billing nightmare. Paid online only to receive another bill for the same amount. Tried calling the practice directly and no one would pick up the phone. I then call their billing number only to be told they would call me back. They never did. Finally called billing number again and they told me to disregard the bill sent to me.
It can really freak people out when they receive a bill they've already paid. Please fix your billing system.
But everyone I talked to during my visit was nice and respectful. Just a shame that billing and not answering phones was an issue.

April was highly recommended to me at a time when my elderly aunt became very sick but refused to leave her house to see a doctor. We were frustrated and at a loss as to what to do, we tried reaching out to the doctor she had used for years, to APS, to home care companies, to Medicare, but we just hit wall after wall. We knew that she qualified for home health care, but only if she saw a doctor first. Luckily, someone eventually gave me Dr. April Carlton's contact info. She responded immediately and made a home visit to my aunt's house in Cabot a few days later. I had no idea that any doctor would do that! Her other doctor wouldn't, and she saw her for years.

Dr. April Carlton was great with my aunt. She treated her with compassion and us as well. She worked to get my aunt home health care and home help care, and when my aunt's insurance wasn't accepted with one she found us another. She was always available to answer all of my questions. When I contacted her and asked her to consult Hospice she put the referral in immediately and Hospice came to my aunt's house within hours of me calling her.

I wish I would have found her sooner, she has done so much to help us and I am so grateful to her!
