My Dad moved in Dec 2023 - he has felt at home since day 1. The residents and staff are so friendly and helpful. Safe/clean facility with great food with many options at each meal, housekeeping above expectations and outings are a great way to be engaged with residents and the community.

This community holds a special place in my heart?. My dad lived here for 4 years before he passed away. I spent so much time here with him and I couldn’t have asked for a better place for him to be taken care of. A year and a half ago my heart was drawn back to Brookdale AJ, so I came to work here. This community has amazing employees, great food, fun activities and lots of love for all our residents. My goal is to love each resident as they deserve it?. This is the place you want it loved ones to live!!

I've been a resident here for over eight months. I am very impressed with the facilities and the friendliness that I have found here, not only the staff that I have high praise for, but also the residents I've met. I feel very at home here! I have so many options to be involved with all the different programs and amenities they offer. I am very supported by all of the staff members. I had an automobile accident and thought I had lost my independence. But since I moved here, the bus transportation for doctor visits and shopping, as well as the special events we go to has restored that feeling of being independent again. I have found it very easy to make friends here and find other people with common interests. Our chef, Sarah, and her staff does an exceptional job in providing us with wholesome and delicious meals! I highly recommend Brookdale Apache Junction to anyone who is considering a move into a senior living setting.

My husband and I moved into an apartment in Brookdale Apache Junction about three months ago. I find that we are much more comfortable and happy than we were when living in a house in the suburbs.

It is great to have all our meals served to us restaurant style in a dining room, with no preparation nor cleanup required of us. There are always several choices of entree, vegetables, etc. Soup and dessert are offered with lunch and dinner. I like a lot of vegetables, and there are several of them that are cooked from fresh that are offered every day. I frequently get more than one. Overall, the menu is high quality, varied, and tasty.

We no longer have to care for a house because we have our apartment cleaned and our linens changed weekly. Repairs and maintenance are provided by Brookdale.

A big plus of living here is the opportunity to socialize with the other residents and the very friendly staff. Unlike in some care facilities, the staff here treats us like social equals, and makes a good effort to learn everyone’s name.

I enjoy attending events such as “Brain Boosters,” craft classes, and the weekly “Happy Hour” with live music and refreshments. My husband attends an exercise class and informative lectures.

We got to bring our dog with us to Brookdale! She was at first distressed by all the people coming and going, but now she is settling in. She is happy to be with us, and we are happy to have her!

We have both independent living and assisted living available here. My husband and I are currently in the “Independent Living” category of residents. As we require more assistance in the future, we can gradually take on assistance for our personal care. We don’t have to move and leave all our friends. There is a nearby facility if we ever need full nursing care.

I am glad that so many of our concerns are taken care of in our senior years. I can relax more and enjoy every day’s small pleasures.

My Mother has been living at Brookdale Apache Junction for 1 1/2 years now after moving from her home in the Pacific Northwest. The transition was difficult for her emotionally but we found all the staff to be very knowledgeable, kind and understanding. They have worked tirelessly to keep all the residents safe and upbeat during the Corona Virus pandemic. They communicate well with the families always keeping us abreast of any changes. My Mom calls her apartment at Brookdale home and is very grateful to live in such a safe and caring community. I highly recommend Brookdale Apache Junction to anyone looking for a good home for elderly parents.

Amazing place and wonderful staff!! We moved our parents here in February and we could not be more pleased with the place and the staff. Where normally an assisted living has a fast turnover of staff, Brookdale AJ has had the same staff for years. The caregivers genuinely care for the residents - from the server in the restaurant watching that my Mom actually eats to the caregiver who sings to my Dad when she helps put him to bed - the staff is awesome.

The place is sparkling clean with so many activities daily. It is more like living on a cruise ship with no water than an assisted living. The activities and music are wonderful. They encourage family to come for meals and I about dropped my fruit when I was there for breakfast the other day and the server called me by name. I was impressed she knew all the residents but to also learn family names – wow!

The staff clearly has the unique skills to do that job – and that is indeed unique to find a care facility with a staff that has been there as long as your staff has. Watching my Mom regain her social nature after being so isolated as my Dad's primary care giver has been so wonderful.

I just finished my first overseas trip since we moved Mom and Dad to Brookdale and I have to be honest after the first couple days of being gone I finally shut my phone off at night and was able to get some sleep. Every member of your staff has been wonderful and it shows there is something very right with the facility.

We looked at many places and would recommend Brookdale AJ very highly.
