Dr. K started seeing my son not too ago, and diagnosed him with Schizoid Affective disorder. It is sad to say She has shown a lack of respect and consideration. A lack of tact. When inquiring about side effects, she tried to scold and shame me, telling me to stop and not put words in my son’s mouth. Just very aggressive and unnecessary bedside manner. I felt unheard and so regarded. On this recent med check appointment, She did not even inquire about the side effects medication was having on him, how he felt.
We did not feel listened to at all. During the last conversation we had she hung up on me. Very disappointed to know that as a concerned parent, I was being put down for asking questions to best understand my child. I am a soft spoken respectful person. Under no circumstances should a professional treat a parent in the way she treated me.

Dr. K is very professional. She cares for her patients and listens to the patients needs. The staff is very friendly and takes their time with the patient. If something is out of the Dr.'s scope Dr. K will let you know who to contact for that situation. Very friendly Dr. and caring and patient staff.

Olubukola Komolafe is the epitome of a medical professional with terrible bedside manners and no concern for patients. She is only about money and control. Oddly, she has Bible verses hanging all over her walls, but her treatment towards those in distress, or anybody regardless of their situation, makes me question how good is Christian goodwill. She acts with no compassion, is combative, stubborn and hypocritical. Extremely unpleasant and unprofessional. She dared to lecture me on responsibility (when I am in fact not responsible for completing her administrative tasks, or for her poor communication skills). People love to throw around the word narcissist, but it perfectly suits her nasty attitude. She is so lazy and unwilling to help that she would rather argue with you instead of looking for information (i.e., work). Only after we sat down did she angrily tell me it can take weeks to receive a ROI (still not my problem. I submitted it 2 weeks before) throwing her hands in the air while rolling her neck asking "Well where is it then?!" If her staff didn't receive it she should've rescheduled, or just go over it with then, but obviously nobody did anything to begin with. I provided what I needed to, but wrongly believed as with most providers that she will take 5-10 minutes to simply go over and proceed with the intake.

When I arrived she was not even aware we had an appointment. She was disheveled because I interrupted her eating. Talk about being unprepared and not responsible for checking your own schedule! Not saying a word, we walked to her back office which stunk badly of her smelly food. While still smacking she sat down and stuck out her hand making the "give me" gesture for my co-pay. My instinct told me something was off, but I was unsure how to proceed and desperately seeking a specific treatment that she is the only provider for in Phoenix on my insurance. After quickly glancing at my form she became hostile and said "Ugh, you didn't finish..I don't know you, why should I help you?" Of course she doesn't know me, it's a first meeting, that goes without saying obviously. That' why you do an assessment. But she was stuck on minor details that should not be an issue. That's what medical records are for, but everything was in fact listed and I requested those records for them. As confirmed, she doesn't know me but it didn't stop her making ignorant comments about my situation, which I revealed involved ptsd from domestic violence. I was vulnerable and being asked difficult private details by somebody who did not care, was pushy and overly annoyed, only to be told to leave soon after because she didn't want to be bothered to look at or type anything. She tried to point her finger at me, not realizing there's 3 pointing back at her. Olubukola Komolafe is unwilling to do anything but take payment. I don't understand why she is in this position with people struggling with psychiatric disorders or trauma. She clearly does not like to lift a finger, does not like people, doesn't treat others with respect, talking only about copay (mentioned 3x while still smacking food in her mouth). Stop being a hindrance and don't make things worse for people. I certainly didn't intend to waste my own time. I left very confused if she is a fraud or legitimate provider. So I reached out to my insurance to let them know and possibly reconsider using her services. The rep tried calling. Of course, not wanting to be held accountable and likely feeling justified in her behavior, those calls were never returned. I would be surprised if she has NOT been subject to disciplinary action. For those that had a better experience - maybe she benefited more off their services, or adjusts her behavior accordingly for certain people. There is no excuse for her behavior and she is actually a huge disservice for those in crisis. Hate paperwork so much, get a new job Olubukola Komolafe!

Dr. K helps me find alternative solutions to my schizoaffective disorder. Before increasing my medication, she is going to have me take vitamin B12 and a supplement called Calm from Walmart. She's very helpful, I don't understand the 1 star reviews.

Absolutely amazing practitioner and helpful across all aspects of care. Dr K was able to assess and recommend therapy and provided the most insight I have ever received. Would recommend her to anyone.

I came here looking for someone to manage my adult adhd. During my intake we discussed what I was on (two forms of stimulant, one short acting one longer acting, to kickstart the time period before the long acting becomes active) - and she told me she would not provide two forms of adhd medication, even though it was what is right for me and I've been on forever, due to guidelines and me not having filled the short acting in the last 30 days (I had some from a dose change so I was trying to avoid filling meds before I was out, so it was over 30 days but not over 60). She preferred to switch me to a medication she had never prescribed before or make me suffer with inadequate coverage. She sent my prescription to the wrong pharmacy in error and when I asked her to send the script to the right pharmacy she told me it could not be called back, which was a lie as it's been done for me before by other providers. The pharmacy she sent my script to is the worst in town and I was unable to get the script filled in a timely fashion leading to missed medication and impact at work and at home. She made statements about how guanfacine and intuiv are not identical in the body (some metaphor about egg and oil) - she's not up to date on the most current research and she does not understand the ADHD experience. I don't think she sees patients as people, or at least did not felt seen as a person. I found the meeting disappointing and caused more stress than help and found someone else who is more qualified to manage my meds. The one thing she was really all about while we were meeting was getting paid, she really wanted to get that part done. She refused to do telemed even though the commute for me is 3+ hours from my primary home to do a in person appointment. Unfortunately, my insurance covered more than expected and she ended up owing me. When I got the EOB I reached out and asked for repayment; it took reminding them about the possibility of chargeback to get my refund. Absolutely 100% do not recommend, please check out CHADD, ADDITUDE, or goodtherapy for someone who specializes in ADHD if you need that treatment, I do not know her well enough to know if she is good at anything but I can testify to her being inadequate to treat ADHD.

My son has problems and, was in need of help. First they were pleasant and, set up an apointment. It was a telephone appointment, they never called. He called them an hour later. The lady on the phone immediately started telling him that he owed money for the phone appointment. He explained that he never received the call. Then she apologized and told him to fill out paperwork on the portal. While doing so my son called to ask a question. A very rude man answered the phone immediately telling my son he owed money for the appointment that never took place. The man kept insisting that my son will owe money up to our deductible. I told my son if this is how there customer service is like this before appointments this is not the place for us.

After finishing my first call to Bethel Hills, I remember saying out loud, "This is exactly what Ahwatukee needs!" Now a year later, I know my trust was well placed.
You can't help but see Dr. Komolafe's competent hand in every aspect of Clinic operations. While she continues to offer (and expand) top-of-the-line accommodations and integrated services--I still sense that spirit of availability...at every appointment, phone call, even through patient messaging.
I'm grateful for a provider who prioritizes a positive style, and puts patients at ease Most telling of all, I mention Dr. Komolafe's eagerness to care and heal. Again, it's exactly what we all need!
