My dad was recently transferred to Beachside Post Acute; initially I thought he would have trouble acclimating to a new environment but the staff and other residents/patients were very welcoming and accommodating. Although the amenities are a little outdated, the facility is very clean and well kept. The activity director ensures that there are plenty of activities and outings which is not always expected in a SNF setting. Nevertheless, I feel that my father is getting optimal care and his needs are being met. I cannot also stress how wonderful and attentive the staff are, this is perhaps their greatest strength!

These stars are for the staff. I won’t factor in a rating for the facility because the place is what it is, I’m sure they have limited resources. It was clean and adequate other than maybe being overcrowded. But the staff seemed to be able to keep up.

I was there for a short visit and witnessed the ongoings in the common areas / halls. Our grandfather has been there for a couple of weeks and didn’t complain about his treatment or really anything which says a lot.

There were multiple kind nurses and staff all right there and available to assist right away - not just us and our grandfather there, but the other patients around. They way they seemed to know and interact with the other patients was reassuring.

The facility is a busy, small place and no “field day” to be in, but they seem to be well staffed with competent and kind nurses and assistants making the best of the resources available to them.

I am a patient here. This place is run in a very haphazard careless manner.
The food is almost unedible. I have lost 20lbs since arriving here less than two months ago. I cannot sleep many times due to very loud music playing almost constantly.
I. Would not recommend this place. I am trying to find another facility to be Tra sparred to. This place is horrible.

The facility is clean I give you that.
The staff is nice and accessible.
The patients seem to be comfortable in their rooms. Mr Alvin Rye’s has a feeding tube so I can not comment on the food

Myself and my Dad are Veterans. We were fortunate that the VA Hospital sent my Dad to Beachside for a 32 day rehab assignment. The entire staff is what makes this place deserving of a very positive rating. The facility is well run, well kept, clean and an overall great place. Especially for what it is, a Rest Home and a rehab facility. The staff starting with the Housekeeping, Business Office, Case Workers, Physical Therapy, Dining room, Care givers and the Nurses were very professional, organized, receptive to our questions and needs/concerns. Our family wanted to thank everyone for providing my Dad with the best care possible.

My Uncle is being cared for here and tells me everyday how well they treat him. He especially enjoys Karaoke in the activity room. 🙂 The facility is clean and the staff is friendly and greets me pleasantly when I come to visit. He always looks clean and very happy. I asked which nurse he likes best and he said, "All of them!". The staff communicates with me regarding his progress even when he gained a few extra pounds. When I call they with a question they do not hesitate to get my question answered. Overall the experience here has been exceptional.

This place is okay. However, they need to really reevaluate their hiring system. There’s a nurse by the name of Chanel, who is extremely unprofessional I’ve heard the way she talks to the other staff, & the way she talks to the patients and I’m honestly shocked she’s still there.I know this because I go often to visit my dad. I’m honestly concerned if she talks to the patients who are alert like this I don’t want to imagine how she treats those who aren’t verbal. I saw on yelp I’m not the only one complaining about this “nurse” so I really hope admin does something about this if not I encourage everyone to take it to the ombudsman and state because people like this SHOULD NOT be in the healthcare field.

I am pleased with the care that my husband has been given. Everyone is very attentive and willing to help me with any concerns that I have. My husband seems very depressed but the nurses are watching him and will consult with doctor.
Hopefully his spirits will get better.
