My visits to my father were always greeted by a pleasant check-in person. The facility was always clean, well lit, and decorated for the seasons. My father received excellent medical and PT care, had good food, and the nursing and other staff were attentive and friendly.

1st time visiting the facility. Front desk extremely courteous and helpful in navigating the kiosk. She gave great directions to Mr wife’s room. Facility is clean all staff was nice. The environment is very warm.

My husband is at Sterling Forest Hill. We were told there were no private rooms in general. The food is pretty good most of the time. Night Staff needs to be improved. My husband will have his light on for an hour and a half before anybody will even pop their head in. I have complained about this before and it’s getting ridiculous. It’s not like the night shift is the busiest shift.

My mother just was admitted to the nursing home and at first I was dreading it because I thought that it was just a regular nursing home. When I walked inside, it did not have that dreadful smell that nursing homes have, (I’m grateful for that) & the staff was very polite and helpful. I will try to write a review in a couple weeks just as a follow up to make sure that they genuinely care still about their residence. UPDATE: Sterling Care started out great now i cannot say the same. I have had to go to case management multiple times about stuff that i feel I shouldn’t have had to go about such as the staff making sure that my mother is washed up daily & that her clothes are changed daily, making sure that she doesn’t have feces on her etc. A friend of my mother’s went to see her on Christmas & when she went into the room she was greeted with the unpleasant smell of feces. Upon inspecting where the smell was coming from she discovered that my mom had it all over her & it had been there for a while. When she went to the nurses station about it, they told her that they was about to do a shift change and someone will get around to it, which took them a while to do. My sister and I have gone to the nurses station multiple times about different things and we’re always told that it’s the next shift’s responsibility or it was the shift before the responsibility to do whatever should’ve been done. This is not good. Also, somehow my mother fell and they had the bed high up in the air which I’m still wondering how my mother fell off the bed considering that she can’t move her legs. I was told it was under investigation, but I’m still waiting on someone to call and tell me what exactly happened and that was over two weeks ago. I am not happy with Sterling Care of Forest Hill.

The assistant DON, Kim Ball answered all my questions about the extensive care my FIL required and would receive at Sterling Care after being discharged from the hospital. His needs included PT,OT, wound care, medical concerns of uncontrolled diabetes, current blood clot and sepsis aftermath among other issues. My husband was greeted and informed of the care his father would receive by the wound care nurse after my FIL's transport from the hospital. I am an RN, as well as a concerned family member and understand how important true, competent and compassionate care is for our loved ones. I feel my FIL will receive this here. Thank you.

The staff has been caring and prompt with my mom's care. It is nice also to have people that listen to the patient's needs in order to get them stronger and back home.
