I came here for a year or so to start up my degree. The classes were easy to figure out and the price is good.

For the location you don't really even need a car, there's a great food place across the street and if you're willing to drive a bit, there's plenty more options.

However the food in the vending machines are frequently problematic often expired by more than a few months.
They also have a "hot food" vending machine but it's only worked once or twice in the entire semester I was there.

Outside of that, I didn't have any issues. The teachers were good, the price was good, and the material will help me attain the degree I want. It also connects with other local colleges to make transferring and comparing classes easier.

This is a good school. I’ll start off with the cons. There’s not a lot. I would give this school five stars if it weren’t for some of the administration office and advisors. Cindy Rinta who has worked here for years isn’t pleasant to interact with at all. And the financial aid office could do better at helping students, communication, and deadlines. Not a lot of clubs or organizations. Pros: The professors at this school are amazing. All of them really are passionate about student success and they push you to succeed. Majority of the people who work here are kind. You can get a great education for a great price and there are a lot of resources at North Hennepin for anything you need.

I want to praise the team at NHCC for the amazing service and care they have given my family over the years. I've had three boys attend, and we have been helped along the way on multiple occasions by many team members at the school. Special shout outs to Kristi L'Allier in Financial Aid and ShaRon Carter in Registration for being so proactive, positive and helpful. Thanks for all you have done to help get us through these important college years!

I was a student here from Spring 2016 to Spring 2017. I saved money getting my generals done here, and I enjoyed the small class sizes. The instructors, for the most part, were all very kind and helpful and wanted to see their students succeed. I enjoyed my time at NHCC, and I would recommend it to other students looking to get their generals done.

The director of the nursing program is a poor communicator, toying with thousands of hard-earned dollars from students. There are better nursing programs nearby that have more respectful and honest staff members in their nursing programs. They also delete negative reviews at this school.

As someone who went to this school for PSEO and to do generals to study Cybersecurity I couldn't recommend this school more for genuine great teachers for your generals. Shout out to professor Mallery the Anthropology teacher and Sensei Larson for being my two favorite teachers of all time in my education. You both are what make learning a great experience.
