Change of health insurance and live nearby this location. Attempted to make a first appointment with a doctor listed as 'Accepting New Patients' at this location. Was forced to go through the automated system twice, as the first time I was re-routed back to exactly the same number I had called the first time. The front desk/reception/scheduling woman was awful, demeaning, laughing and saying they didn't have any appointments for six months. When I asked if I could see an NP or alternate doctor as I was in need of prescriptions, she twice complained about how she would have to scan every day for open appointments, under a minute later telling me there was nothing available. Horrific customer service and a waste of time.

Free parking on site. Bring cash for tips, it is a valet service. Parking lot connected to building so you don't have to go outside if it's raining! Check-in easy, appointment was on time, thank you! Waiting area is very relaxing and nice. Exam rooms are clean. Appointment was very fast, but was good. Overall a good experience.

2nd floor, 3/26/24. The lady working the front desk was extremely disrespectful and racist. She was rude and wouldn’t accommodate my partners disability with speaking and language processing.

She Overzealously commented “Does he always speak for you, because I’ll get an ipad interpreter” and continued to mutter under her breath and threatened to make us wait for an language interpreter even though English is her first language.

Meanwhile we’re tying to move in a timely manner for her scheduled surgery, not to be delayed by the bad attitude of the front desk worker.

If you can’t work a 6am shift, you’re probably in the wrong field to be at this hospital.

People like this give Stanford a horrible reputation.

She grinned and gloated about how I couldn’t be present to wait with her prior to her surgery, only to have the Dr’s eventually call me in to wait with completely disproving her overzealous and sassy point.

She let her attitude violate her disability rights. Great Job.

This place is sketchy. I’m not exactly sure their legal relationship to Stanford, but it’s tenuous, at best.

They ask intrusive demographic questions before they allow you to make an appointment. I don’t even understand how it’s legal for them to ask my race, employer, employment status before providing care. Now I tell them “I prefer not to answer” to any unnecessary questions. but it feel like data mining… or a lawsuit waiting to happen.

Speaking of waiting, that’s what to expect with appointments. They schedule 5 to 6 months out for basic treatment. I don’t know what they’ve done to run off their practitioners, but they seem drastically understaffed.

If/ when you do get seen, their billing system is outrageous. They will RIP YOU OFF using outrageous billing codes for simple procedures. Be very careful, as they do not offer competitive rates, even with good insurance.

Overall, I urge everyone to stay away from this place. Patients deserve better. YOU deserve better. I know I did.

They will have you waiting for at least 30 mins - 1 hour past your appointment time. Every. single. time. It's very frustrating as I have to do a lot to get to the office, and wait months for an appointment in the first place. All for the doctors to not listen to your concerns and rush you out. Hate it here! Dr. Singh is a horrible GI Doctor. I told him my concerns about SIBO and he told me it's not real and to start eating kiwis everyday

This place sucks. Waited several months for an appointment at the dermatology clinic just to get looked at for 5 seconds and be told to “come back some other time” because I wasn’t actively flaring up. Go outside Stanford Health Care if you can and hopefully you’ll find people that actually care to help you.

TLDR; Don’t go here if you don’t want a billing headache months (or years) down the line.

The doctors and front desk staff at this place tend to be helpful and attentive which is a plus, and the reason I’m giving 2 stars (otherwise I’d give none). This is because their billing department is awful. On two separate occasions they have tried to charge me hundreds of dollars for appointments that were already covered by my insurance, happened almost two years ago, and I made co-pays for. I don’t think that they communicate very efficiently over there either because I contacted my insurance company who has tried to contact them (to no avail) and they continue to call me asking me to pay up even though I should have been moved to the ‘dispute’ category long ago.

They’ll charge you 800 dollars for a 10 minute visit, and not solve any of your problems. Would advise against going here if possible. Pretentious staff and clueless doctors. Save yourself the headache and stay far away from this scammy institution.
