I am just starting very early research for a landing spot for myself in a few years and Redstone Village was my first stop. I was extremely impressed! Corey was easy to communicate with and gave a very thorough tour of the facilities. All of my questions were answered and he gave me his card for any further questions that may arrise as I start digging in and building my spreadsheet. I have now viewed a couple of different communities (not all CCRC) and Redstone felt the most like home by a long shot.

My wife and I moved into Redstone 22 months ago. All of the staff are very friendly and helpful, they call you by your name and always have an open door policy. All of the residents we have met are friendly, nice, and interesting to talk to. Everyone has been very caring in showing us around and helped us get settled in. We are glad that masks are no longer required and we are able to see the faces of our new neighbors. The dog park, wood shop, arts and crafts, activities, walking group and underground parking are part of what we enjoy the most. We love having a porch however the air conditioners of our neighbors are so loud you cannot sit on the porch and talk. You can stay as active or inactive as you would like. The food here is very good. There is a very nice swimming pool and gym that we have not yet taken the time to enjoy.

Top-notch facility, cleanliness, staff attention make this a place that I have complete confidence in for my parents' care. The rehab facility is fantastic. During the time my mom spent here, she could not say enough good things. It gave the rest of us peace of mind to trust the staff at Redstone Village.

My grandparents have been residents over the last 10 years. When my grandfather had to move into a memory care unit the team at Grandview Gardens took exceptional care of him. We never stressed or worried about him being there without family.

My grandmother is still a resident and enjoys all the activities they arrange (currently it’s a Zumba class). During the pandemic, it was nice to know she had a second family she could be around while we social distanced.

I look forward to the return of social visits plus the omelette and waffle bar at Sunday brunch.

We have looked a few places but could not get over the friendliness and knowledge of everyone we met. Even the people that lived there kept telling us how they loved it there and wished they made there choice years earlier. I never expected that we would get excited about moving out of our house of 20 years but they are my choice. The food was restaurant quality.

They took great care of my father throughout his stay. Thank you for being there for my father. They understood his needs and worked very hard to provide the best of care. They adjusted his care whenever necessary throughout his battle with dementia.

My Mom and Dad went in under their lifecare plan. Good experience until Mom needed skilled nursing. The RAs and nurses vary from great care to pure negligence. I found Mom 1 morning at 9 am with an overflowing diaper from the night before and due to short staff, they had not attended to her. One RA broke her hand during a tranfer about a year ago. But the worst part is the last 24 hours of her life. Mom did not get the medicines she needed, convulsing for hours with no attention from the directing doctor, Dr. Ligon, after repeated phone calls to her from various nurses. We decided to use Kindred hospice since Dr. Ligon is also their directing doctor, thinking that when needed, we had any situation covered with the same doctor but we find her lacking in care from both ends. Stay with your parent at the end and be sure they have end of life drugs on hand (see them for yourself). Mom's were supposedly ordered but then Dr. Ligon didn't get them into the pharmacy in time so Mom suffered greatly. The family is meeting with quality care at Redstone to try to get some answers and perhaps prevent this from happening again to someone else.
