My Mother was a very complicated patient as a result of complications from a stroke. She was on a ventilator, a feeding tube and required 24/7 care and was totally dependent on someone else. She required someone experienced with giving medicines, breathing treatments, wound care, and personal hygiene. Erika and Derek came in and listened to our needs and made an extensive assessment as to how to staff us for the time we needed help. Before they left on that 1st day they had a plan for my mothers care and the next day she called back and told us when the caregivers could start. From that first day every caregiver was professional, experienced, had an excellent bedside manner and most of all had a dedication for giving the kind of care that my Mother needed in a Most Loving, genuine and Caring way. With Mother being a nurse herself I knew she approved of all her caregivers by the smile she gave each one.That was a huge relief to the family. All the challenges that presented themselves were never ignored and were met with timely and diligent work ethic by all caregivers and Erika and Derek.
