By far the best dentist I have been to in my 30 years of life. I have a fear of the dentist due to past experiences, and they make me feel very comfortable and explain everything so nothing is a surprise to me. I am no longer scared walking through the front door of a dentist. After my first cleaning here they were shocked at the poor status of my teeth and gums and attributed it to my previous dentist/ lack of effort during their cleanings. However since routinely coming here my teeth and gums have never been healthier and I love showing off my smile now.

I have been going to doctor Yankee for over 7 years, Same great care year after year. I have mega anxiety when dealing with the dentist, Through the years they have really helped settle me down and make me as comfortable as possible. I will not go any where else, I will not stop referring people Either. They treat you like a friend, and always offer any help they can. Might be a little wait to get in, But TRUST ME it will be worth it. From Doctor Yahnke to all the staff that work there, You will not find better care IMO. Thanks Yahnkee dental, Brady Martin

My family and I have only had wonderful experiences at Yahnke Dental. Both Dr. Jay and his staff are very gentle, kind, knowledgeable and listen to all of my concerns.They are all great with my two young boys as well! The office is clean and up to date. I would recommend Yahnke Dental to anyone looking for great care!

Dr. Yahnke and staff gave me outstanding dental care. Seeing the dentist when I was younger was not a priority, so I had a lot of dental issues that needed some cosmetic care. I was nervous about even starting the process, but Dr. Yahnke spaced the work in smaller sessions and explained everything fully. I was given a plan with everything labeled and priced. Since I had a max on my insurance, we did some of the work one year and the rest the next year. He was so understanding and gentle. His staff makes you feel at ease and comfortable. I actually look forward to going to the dentist now. I recommend Dr. Yahnke whenever I get a nice compliment about my smile! Thanks Doc!

Dr. Jay is the BEST dentist you can find. I absolutley HATE going to the dentist, but Dr. Jay makes it enjoyable. The staff is super nice and they make you feel comfortable. We drive for over an hour to see Dr. Jay. We bring the whole family, 2 teenagers and mom and dad. If you've ever had the pleasure of taking kids to the dentist you know what I'm talking about. It's not easy to find a dentist that the kids are comfortable with so I am grateful that we found Dr. Jay. I fully recommend Dr. Jay and the Yahnke dental staff for all your dental needs. Thank you Dr. Jay!!!!

I am new to Yahnke Dental. I was very happy with the service I received. As new, I had to have 2 appointments which I was not in favor of. (this is my only negitive). Everyone was very nice and cared for my dental needs. I will be a happy with them for future visits.

I am VERY unhappy with their lack of communication with me. They never explained the procedure and the cost. I was a new patient who recently moved from Madison to La Crosse.

I have had a yearly periodontal maintenance cleaning each year in Madison for about 10 years. I explained this to Yahnke. He said that he would do the same but my new insurance in La Crosse would actually pay for it (unlike Madison).

He did tell me that it would be a regular cleaning for half of my teeth and a periodontal cleaning for the other half.

My cleaning by Yahnke's hygienist seemed like my work done in Madison.

A few weeks later I received a bill for about $300 for something called scaling and root planing!

Yahnke never uttered the words scaling and planing to me or what that meant to my teeth or the cost involved. I had never heard of scaling and root planing before. I am not even sure they did that scaling and planing to me since the procedure seemed just like the cleaning I received from my Madison periodontist!

When I called their office the woman told me that this is what they did to me and to pay up. I told her to express my displeasure to Yahnke but I never heard back from him.

I have been a patient of Dental Health Associates of Madison for about 20 years and have never had an issue with them. This Yahnke fellow deceived me after my second appointment. I do not think he tried to defraud me. However, he did not tell me what he planned to do to me or the cost.

I will no longer be his customer.
