PARENTS. PLEASE READ.

If you read the reviews, you will see alot of mixing, but you will notice a patern of parents loving, and patients, hating it. This is for a reason. Please. Listen to the kids. I volunteerly came to this facility in 2021, I had been to previous facilities that had helped me and were wonderful, this one was NOT. Most the nurses here are emotionally and physically abusive. The doctors don't care on fixing the meds, infact they care on maxing out the most expensive ones. The food is horrible, and unhealthy. The therapy sessions are limited, some people only see the therapist once upon months, some only once the entire visit. The visits you have with your kids, are monitored, the calls are monitored, the letters if you get them, are monitored, this may seem safe or like thats a good thing, but it isnt, any bad talk about the staff, the treatment, whatever, is seen as "bad" "gloomy" just gets the kid more time in this hell hole. I know the parents in these reviews say that the kids say it helped, but it's only cause the kids had no choice. Don't send your kid here. Pick another place.

Was told discharge for the minor that lives with me would be in two months. The next week, I got a call to come pick the minor up. There were only 2-3 family sessions, and the minor only saw the therapist after being there several weeks, and was only seen for 10 minutes one time a week, SOMETIMES. Therapist said they were beginning just recently to get to the root of the minors problems and minor would be here a couple of more months. Then bam, in the course of a week, the minor was cured and will enough to be discharged. This is a minor that was self harming and committing crimes. Someone explain the justification here. Sent for help, received very little help.

Completely unprofessional. Nurses physically and emotionally bullied patients. Downright immaturity from the nurses. I was a patient and I came out even worse than I did coming in. Mommas if ur seeing this don’t let ur baby come here it’s not pretty

This hospital took great care of my son. Helped him overcome the problems he were having before going in. I really appreciate them for putting us on a better road to becoming better. Thank you all so much ❤️

I got sent here about a year ago. The place sucked! They don’t care about you or your mental health, seen staff physically assault patients, your not allowed to talk to other patients, the food was nasty, the place was dirty, staff treated everybody terribly, if you want adults to beat on your children and belittle them this is the perfect place. They didn’t give me my clothes, and they didn’t care about our hygiene or anything, we fr sat in a room and watched tv from the time we woke up to the time we went to bed, and we weren’t allowed to talk to anybody. At all. If I could give negative stars I would. This place needs to be shut down. It’s not at all what it looks like in the pictures or videos. Also to add, meals were at weird times, we went to dinner around 4 pm and they served the nastiest food imaginable. This place needs to be shut down. the whole time I was there I didn’t speak to a therapist or anything, just sat in a room of silence. Don’t get me wrong there one one or two staff that were okay-ish. But overall the place is terrible. -15/5 stars. Seriously, do not send your kids here!.

I went here after I tried to kms, uhm I’m ngl. This place is terrible. All we did all day was watch tv and sit in the room, we saw the doctor once a day and she was asking the same questions. It’s not really helpful, they help you with coping skills to cope with your problems but never actually talk to you to help you overcome it, yk? They just help you avoid your problems with the coping skill. It’s the same thing every say, wake up, eat, meds, snack, lunch, snack, dinner, showers, snack, meds, bedtime, repeat. WE HAD DINNER AT 4PM? The food was good ngl, but we had sandwiches for like 5 days in a row Idk I really didn’t like that. Some of the staff are good, some not. They’re kinda mean ngl, when I was there I wish I had someone to talk to. But I was kinda just in my head the whole time. You get a real therapist when you get out of there, but I wish there was someone to talk to inside. Some of the nurses are mean. I wasn’t ever treated badly because I just did whatever I had to, but if you act up then well that’s kinda on you. Ik I wasn’t there to make friends but there’s some really nice kids here, they just need someone to talk to, most are there for suicide stuff and I felt really bad for them. Some people just need someone to talk to, especially kids. I wouldn’t recommend sending a child here at all speaking from a personal experience.

My daughter spent 7 days here! Im contacting the mayor and my Lawyer now! This place is ran by people who sit on there phones watching TikTok letting kids fight and fight with staff members pulling girl hair out! The staff curse the kids! My daughter has been dealing with depression and overdosed about one month ago was on a ventilator we almost lost her we sent her to WoodRidge saying there going to do therapy but my daughter said all the did was school work for 2 hr and watch tv all day! The doctor see her once a day for 5min all the doctor asked her was how u feeling! This is not therapy! They throw meds on kids! I’m sure some pockets are paid off in the government but I know how to go viral with the following I have! You’ll be hearing from my Lawyer very soon!
