If you want your loved one to die, this is the place. It is outdated, smells like poop and mold. One of the rooms my mom was in, it leaked. She was moved three times because she had disorderly room mates. The elderly are left unattended in the hallway. I had to be there in order for my mom’s diaper to be changed in a timely manner. By the time she received her bland food it would be cold. My mom had an appointment with a specialist and Catalina made the appointment but there was no follow through with the necessary tests that needed to be done for that appointment. The nurses were scrambling at the last minute on the day of my mom’s appointment but never completed the required tests so it was a waste of time as the nephrologist needed the blood test results. The only good people were Lucy, the caretaker, and the physical/occupational therapists and that is why they received a star. DO NOT TAKE YOUR LOVED ONES THERE!

I’ve been a resident at Windsor Gardens for about a year and half now due to renal failure yes Im on hemodialysis for the past 11 years. Having kidney failure cause you to have more Dr. visits as well as hospitalizations due to complications. In the past 11 years in this journey i have been 5 different facilities and this one by far is the best one I’ve in. Yes its a little outdated but their working on improving and bring it more up to date. Just like alot of place and business theres always room for improvement with that said. My first stay was in Aug 2022 it was a short 3 month stay due to UTI it was a very pleasant and comfortable stay love the staff so much so that when I went back to the hospital in Aug 2023 for Calciphylaxis problems due to yes complications of kidney failure I was giving 3 choices, Windsor Gardens been one of those choices, i chose it again because my previous stay was excellent and pleasant. Also the staff made it more pleasant by treating their residents like family and making sure every resident gets flowers and a card for their birthday. For me those little details makes a place worth staying or having ill family come here. When i came back I was greeted by the beautiful receptionist Bianca who has always has a bubbly, delightful personality, and Megan always willing to help family and residents alike, as well as Mr Heriberto Hernandez the facility director always been a gentleman and making sure you are comfortable and well taken care by his staff, and the ladies in the business office like Ms. Jobeth, Ms. Isamar, Mrs. Carmen, Mrs. Catalina and Ms. Ruby the newest addition to the staff always going over and beyond to make sure you are confortable and your needs are met while you are a resident no matter if your short or long term. Always looking out making sure you insurance and documentation is in order and up to date and theirs any issues they go out of their way and time to fix any detail. The social workers Ms. Yamilett, Mrs. Judith and Mrs. Shy are always going over and beyond to make sure all your Doctors appointments and transportation needs are met in a timely manner. The Nursing Staff are always making sure you get all your medications and treatment on time, the treatment nurse Raquel, Michelle and Loraine they are the exceptional at what they do always friendly and smiling and giggling they make treatment bearable and less painful as possible. The floor nurses Anthony, Issac, Mikal, Salvacion, Allyssa, Addy, Quin Quin, Gina, Jelico are always helping you and friendly with the residents and family. The CNA’s who you usually have contact with residents 95% of the time are always in a great mood willing to help with everything including getting dressed, showering and even shaving. The CNA’S thats stand out are Dian, Erica, Valeria D. Esmeralda, Rosa Jennifer, Jessenia I. Valeria V. Evelyn, Monica, Alan, Fernando, Paul, Juan Pablo, Johnathon, Maya, Lily, Lionel, Luz, Estela, John, Ryan, Noel they all give it there best. They make sure you get your meals and if you don’t like that meal they go back to the kitchen and get you an alternative. The Activities ladies Maciel and Sylvia always having some group thing going whether its bingo, loteria, prayer service or something different to make the time for long term residents more pleasant. Customers service or Patient service is a difficult profession you cannot satisfy everyone, there always someone is going to complain with that said all these individuals do their best at all times. The occupational and physical therapy are always helping the residents to get their adecúate and necessary therapy making sure everyone gets well and back to where they were before coming here. Even the kitchen staff, housekeeping and maintenance are friendly and helpful to the residents and the family. I would highly recommend this facility to anybody and any friend in need of a skilled nursing facility like i said their is always room for improvement and they are actually working on it themselves I would give this place 5 stars all day of the week….

Actually I don't understand why this lady is saying all this, this is the the friendlist and nicest facility I have had the pleasure of having my aunt in. They truly care aboat all the residents. The Administrator has a open door policy and is always available when needed. If you have questions regarding family members, you can ask the nurses and even when they are busy they still answer your questions. also judith is always checking on all the patients. You can tell judith really likes her job, she goes above and beyond to make sure that you can call her at any time. Yes the facility is working on the apperance of building which can use some updates but the care of the patients is more important and the cna's are always aware of the patiens. Thank you for everthing that you are doing for our community.

The staff here is very helpful and kind. Mr. Hernandez, the owner/manager is excellent…he acknowledges that the building is older and they are updating and beautifying it. A special shout out to Catalina, the caseworker there. She has gone above and beyond to help me with my brother Joe. Thank you ALL of you there.
My advice to everyone with family/friend in any facility…Learn the staff’s names and THANK THEM. They have tough jobs and are not becoming millionaires. They do this type of work out of love and caring

I really recommend this facility to anyone. Staff there are super friendly and they make you feel at home. The facility is always clean and the food is amazing. I know all of this
because my sister was there and she would share all of that information with us. What I like the most is that I used to take my own food and I was able to eat with my sister in their dinning area. I never felt rejected while I was there. I was able to spend a lot of quality time with my sister while she was
There. My sister went to heaven while she was there and we received a lot emotional support from their staff. Some of the staff even cried with us.

I been to this facility twice for two different family members and this review is way overdue. The staff is friendly and very attentive. The admissions director Jobeth was very nice on the phone and explained their visitation policy as well as providing her own personal number to call in case I had any questions or concerns during my grandmothers stay. Every time I did call her or text her, she responded within the hour so thank you. The rooms are okay, the nurses were caring and helpful especially when it came to leaving and feeling prepared to take my grandmother home. The therapy was amazing and I can’t thank them enough for all their help and care. The CNA Diane was also super sweet and kind with her ways of treating us when we visited.

My grandma was at Windsor Gardens multiple times last year because of medical reasons. Every time I visited her I was impressed by the cleanliness and organization of the space. The staff was friendly and helpful, and I felt welcomed from the moment I walked in. Whenever food was to be served, it always smelled good & my grandma would always say it was delicious. Overall, I would highly recommend Windsor Gardens to anyone looking for a great rehabilitation facility experience.

Very clean rehabilitation center. The receptionist is always smiling and very funny too. Carmen from the admissions department was one of the first people I met. She greeted me with a Windsor blanket and gave me a snack box. Most of the employees are bilingual which is nice. I was only there for 2 1/2 weeks but they had me back on my feet and back to work before I knew it. I would go back there again if I had another surgery.
