This is one of the worst facilities I've ever worked at. I was only there a month and I was treated horribly. Their secretary, Rose that she's a nice person but she's not. I could not come in one night because I was extremely ill . she was more mad at the fact that I called her on her day off rather than have any kind of Sympathy For Me. I tried to complain to the highest manager but she had the audacity to text me and tell me that the manager was already on her side. They don't care about their workers, they don't care about their patients. All they care about is the almighty dollar. In my opinion this place should be closed. There were bed sores on some of the patients I took care of and other things I will not mention. This place should be shut down

This is the 2nd time I've had my grandparents come to Willow Pass and I'm still very pleased. All the staff are very nice and accommodating. The ambiance is very nice and bright. It also does not smell like urine when you walk in so that's a big PLUS!! Would definitely recommend.

Known throughout northern California as the worst nursing care facility! The dishonesty is overwhelming!! The facility treats patients who can't afford the cost to stay there and needs to use medical insurance for their stay, are treated in the most horrible and disrespectful way one could imagine!!! I would give it a negative 5 star if this post had a negative choice.

My grandmother had a stroke and was sent to this facility for speech and physical rehabilitation.

The staff was friendly, attentive, and took suggestions for her comfort. They had several experts on site from physical and speech therapists to nurses and GPs.

At every hour of the day, you can see someone cleaning and/or sanitizing the facility and they do a great job.

They facility has several amenities for the patients and guests including a dining hall, cable tv, and enclosed outdoor courtyard which all patients were allowed freely to use. All rooms also had large outdoor facing windows that were well kept and clean. There is also a small fenced in space in front of the facility for visiting pets.

The only real issue we had was that parking on most days was a struggle. Their parking lot is small and often full as it is the only area for which the staff can park which leaves little room for visitor parking if any depending on the day. Street parking was also not allowed as Willow Pass is a high-traffic and busy road.

All this being said, I would highly recommend this facility.

Not a good experience for my mom during her stay. Her call button was ignored for 20-30 minutes. During this time my mom was bed ridden and needed assistance to use the bathroom. Now that my mom was discharged, we had questions to clarify some discrepancies with her medication and was out on hold for 2 hours. The nurse rushed us off the phone and responded to our questions with “I don’t know.” Furthermore, she did not give us any direction to find out more.

The best part of her experience was the kind care from Missy that helped with wound care. Thank you for your help, Missy.

So my husbands uncle is in this place and he’s been calling all week and they said that they only have one wireless phone. So I guess we’ll be waiting another week or 2 until my husband can talk to his uncle. BBB will be hearing from me

This facility only did daily care while family were able to visit regularly and check the status of our cousin’s physical appearance and hygiene. Once visits were restricted due to the Pandemic, my cousin had a stage 2 pressure sore developed there and she died with a stage 4 crater size pressure sore!! Daily checking of her body apparently was neglected. Two months before she died treatment commenced. She also got Covid19 at Willow Pass 3 months before she died. Although there were great CNAs, the nursing care is negligible and administration and the directors make excuses for failed daily care.

The whole place needs redoing, new beds,at least new mattresses, more outlets for patients. Only thing I saw that is very clean is visitors or staff bathroom. New paint, it's so out dated.. staff takes their time to answer to patients..
Also probably under staffed.
