This clinic is great! From the phone service, front desk, nurses and doctors, everyone is kind and caring. My family and I have been receiving medical care there and have always had good experiences, special kudos to Stephanie who handled our health insurance claims and was extremely friendly and caring and also to Dr. Jordan Jacob who treated us with great care and kindness. “The greatest! I never used to like going to the dentist, but now it’s impossible to get me out of that office. The staff is always amazing, and Dr. Shirin Y. Bahadurji, D.D.S., ACT - Dental Director is the only dentist I’ve ever been early for every appointment. The one thing that stands out is that she explains everything. That might not sound like a big deal, but I’ve never had a dentist explain anything except ‘you might feel some moderate pain.’ Not only have I never felt pain in that office, but sometimes I feel like just dropping by to hang out. If my teeth are my best friend, then my dentist is my second best.”

I went for a teeth cleaning today with Dr. B and Toya. I hadn’t seen Toya in a year, and I could tell something was different about her in a really good way. Her growth was visible. When I first met Toya, she seemed a bit shy, not in her work but in her interactions. Today felt different more confidence, more presence.

Over the past year, my doc did not take my health seriously, and that my condition needed specialist treatment immediately. As a result, I have had complications, worsening health, and can no longer work.

Over at least 3 months and multiple appointments, they would suggest a different low-level of treatment (meanwhile I got sicker.) They could not or would not follow up with me in a timely matter (or at all) to see if I had any improvement.

The first specialist I did wind up seeing told me, “If you had seen me a few months ago you wouldn’t be in the state you are right now.”

The first time I saw my current PCP there I asked if they had a chance to look at my file (which would show the multi-doctor care team/what treatments I’m on/how long I’ve been doing it and that those treatments are not working) They said they didn’t have time and this was the first time they’d seen it.

My efforts to be organized and proactive about my healthcare were
Not well relieved or respected. At a minimum their visit summary documentation is wildly wrong. (Parts of my record state that X is perfectly fine when I told them at multiple appointments, that X was an ongoing medical issue.)

I am now looking to switch clinics completely, since WFHC has become a virtual factory where volume takes precedence over quality of patient care.

I wait 4-6 weeks for an in-person appointment that lasts less than 15minutes. I wait 4-6 weeks for a tele-visit that lasts less than 10 minutes.

I am referred to specialists that provide sub-par care, with dozens or hundreds of reviews of less than 3 stars. A doctor shouldn’t be sending their patients to 2-star care.

My current PCP was accepting new patients. I was not told they work only 3 days/week. WFHC only said that my current PCP is good, but not that I would wait 4-6 week for an appointment or a follow up.

I have been with WFHC for 4 years. It has been a 180-turn from the decent care I got 4 years ago. I do not want to continue recieving care here and will be looking to find a new clinic that gives me the care I need and that every patient deserves.
