I brought my 8month old son in many times for his eczema which had been ongoing for months and was very uncomfortable for him. He had a rash around his neck that was getting worse even though we cleaned it often.
He also had a cough, with phlegm in his chest, and a runny nose that had been going on for 2 months at that point. I specifically asked if this could be food related. I was assured by the NP that it was not food related and that this was normal for a child his age. A phlegmy cough and runny nose for 2 months is not normal!

I was not convinced that this was normal so I started researching and sure enough so many parents were experiencing this with dairy. I decided to get my son off of dairy formula and sure enough, a week later his eczema was clearing up. It is now gone 2 weeks later. and his cough and runny nose were gone!! It is insane that I went for medical advice and was told it was just normal!
I wish there was a better option for care in this county

I was seen Western Sierra for a skin condition. I knew exactly what it was since I have had it before. When I explained to the nurse, she relayed the message to the attending doctor who then walked in the room and immediately dismissed my self diagnosis and prescribed over-the-counter Cortisone. Now, I am 62 years old. I know what I have and I didn’t appreciate what she did because for three more weeks I suffered with a skin ailment That causes scarring . Just because her ego got the best of her. Ordinarily Sierra med clinic is pretty good, but this experience really upset me. She refused to give me the medicine I needed to clear this up. I have since got a hold of a small amount and immediately my skin started to clear up and heal. She was terrible. I hope I never deal with somebody like her again.

This is for Cardiologist Department I made an appointment easily and everyone i had talk to was nice and professional. I had a Dr I believe her name was Tiffany also the nurse was great they took care of me and told me what maybe going on and why I may have a high heart rate but I'll be wearing a heart monitor for a week so the dr can see what's going on with my heart with my everyday life and while doing activities and whatever I do during my day. I'm really glad she just didn't diagnose me with somthing she thinks it was and is willing to make sure it's nothing else. She was very nice good listener caring and professional as everyone in that department was as well. I'm awaiting for my heart monitor appointment as of now hoping all is ok but I wanted to let everyone know how there Carodiology department was 🙂 as far as the other departments idk

Dr Zimmerman in the urgent care unit is truly an amazing dr who cares about people and their health. Very rare to have a good experience in urgent care, so I can't praise him enough.

I have never left a review on Google but felt I should in this case. I actually took this from another reviewer because this is exactly how I felt....Terrible all around. Lacking experience and the ability to empathize. Very green but seems to believe she knows everything. Poor bedside manner, poor follow up, was argumentative and overly judgmental.

Your phone system is not letting me leave a message for anyone but Kirsten George, who is not my practitioner, your portal is not working and I’m guessing the doctor won’t be attending my phone appointment 1 hour and 15 minutes ago— that you took 15 minutes of my time to confirm, an hour and a half in advance.

I know you probably won’t look at this, but it’s apparently the only way I’ve got to contact Western Sierra.

Been here 3 hours for a doctor note for school. They took 5 patients ahead of my son so he missed school. The staff are not courteous but rude and demeaning.

No ever seems to answer the phone during business hours and if you ever need to speak to an after hours physician their own phone system transfers you to a third party that can’t help you and has never even heard of WSMC.
