This has got to be the worst pharmacy I have ever delt with. My insurance company requires 90 day fills on all of my maintenance medications and despite the contract made between Mr. Butler and CIGNA. The pharmacists and techs think it's okay to make comments like, "your insurance won't pay for the 90 days, we can't continue to lose money by filling these (Brittany, tech)" and telling me that to my face while taking steps towards me until Cody finally put his hand up, but only down at his side. The pharmacist, Cody or Lack Thereof (you ask a simple question about a medication and he's clueless, if you call him out on it he immediately runs to the back), has lied to my insurance company on several occasions telling them that a 90-day fill wouldn't go through when my insurance company told him no, it's the 30 days that you're trying to push through that won't go through. This has happened several times, so then he tried filling half of my prescriptions (45 days or 60 days) that didn't go over well with my insurance company and they had to call him again. One day I went to pick up my medications and they were all 30 days, AGAIN. I asked the pharmacist (older lady with short hair) to fill them for 90 days because I will get a letter from my insurance company. The only way my insurance company will do 3 30-day fills is if it is a new medication, I have been on the same medication for years!! She literally threw a fit, argued that they wouldn't go through, and about having to change them. She was hitting the screen so hard with her finger I could hear it across the pharmacy. I can only image it's because they did in fact go through! My husband stopped using them due to this reason and also every time they would tell him a prescription would be ready the next day with him standing there, he would return the next day after 5pm and have to wait for it to be filled. For professionalism as you should have in a pharmacy, there should be no need for a pharmacist to discuss the money they think they are losing due to the lack of complete information about a contract that was put in place way before they were there and definitely above their pay grade. Discussing this matter only made the techs resent me for having a great insurance company who looks out for me. Unless the money you see my insurance company saving me affects you or your techs paycheck then once again, it is above your pay grade and a contract that should be honored without the hatred, rudeness, physical, and verbal attacks on the customer. The sweet girl that always rings me up gave me a number to call due to the issue. I called and told her everything that had been happening in there and she sounded concerned. She told me that I would get a call back from someone and tell them everything I told her. What phone call back? I went to my car and came back in, and she was in tears for giving me the phone number to call. The older lady pharmacist was yelling saying, I did not have the right to call them and they don't tell them what to do!! My advice is to check your prescription coverage and if any of the Butler Pharmacies have a contract with your insurance company make sure you are receiving your 90-day prescriptions vs. 30, 45 or 60 days. They are making you spend more money than what they are supposed to be. The delivery service may make you think it's great because you have your medication every 30 days, but they are costing local residents more money who wanted to give money back locally by using their pharmacies. Mr. Butler you had over 3 weeks to have someone contact me about this issue and you chose to lose me as a customer. I guess we will see how many others you will lose by exposing the truth about how you do not honor your contracts with insurance companies and allow your employees to act.
Everyone using this pharmacy please check with your insurance company before continuing to do business with them. If you make them follow the contract that you pay a premium on monthly to save money on your medications you will be treated like I was or possibly worse!

I appreciate that this pharmacy delivers. I don’t drive so without this service I’d be out of luck. They don’t always get everything I need filled when it’s needed but I know they do try and they will fix any issue that arises.

I can honestly say I’ve never been so blown away by a pharmacy experience before today!

I’ve spent days waiting on two different pharmacies to get a prescription for my baby figured out have and finally decided to try out West Gate. The pharmacist and technicians spent hours on the phone with my insurance company and pediatrician and finally got us the answer we have been searching for TODAY!

Seriously super impressed with how hard they tried to make sure we got taken care of, they have earned a lifetime patient out of me and my baby!

Thank you for everything you do!

They really personalize everything to you and your needs. I’ve been at Walmart and Walgreens before and you are just another number at those places. They make it easy to get my prescriptions without having to come back multiple times a month either.

I recently had the pleasure of visiting West Gate Pharmacy, and I couldn't be happier with the outstanding service I received from Megan and the entire staff. From the moment I walked through the door, I felt welcomed and valued as a customer.
Megan, in particular, went above and beyond to assist me with my pharmaceutical needs. Her knowledge and expertise were evident as she took the time to answer all of my questions and provide me with valuable information about my medications. She was not only professional but also incredibly friendly and approachable, making me feel comfortable discussing my health concerns.
The entire staff at West Gate Pharmacy is exceptional. They are always courteous, attentive, and efficient, ensuring that every visit is a pleasant and hassle-free experience. The pharmacy is well-organized, clean, and stocked with a wide range of medications and healthcare products.
In addition to their excellent customer service, West Gate Pharmacy also offers convenient services like prescription refills, medication synchronization, and even immunizations. It's clear that they prioritize the health and well-being of their customers.
Overall, I can't say enough positive things about West Gate Pharmacy, Megan, and the entire team. I must say this pharmacy is the happiest group of people working together I have seen in a long time. A young lady named Brittany was so pleasant and informative on the items I was looking to purchase. Its also a great option for someone like me that bounces between Hot Springs Village and Clinton since there are multiple pharmacies that are connected! Super convenient!

Supposed VA approved pharmacy. Was told 5-10 minute wait. Waited 30 minutes before seeing what the problem was. They saw me sitting there waiting and said nothing while my scrip sat there ready. Then charged me, the scrip was paid for by the VA. They said they needed a voucher which I would have had to drive to Hot Springs to get. They would not call or help in any way. Would not accept my veterans photo ID. Ended up paying out of my own pocket. Will try and remove them from veterans approved pharmacy.

Though a prescription was not what was originally ordered, a normally suitable exchange was made. With my particular issue this substitution was something I personally am unable to take. Cody was so kind in discussing the problem over the phone and agreed to do a return since the package had remained unopened. When I came in to do the exchange Brittany was incredibly kind and even took the time to list all of the ingredients in my compounded medications/hormones. This helps me understand if there is an ingredient that might trigger an autoimmune response for me. She was very understanding and efficient. Thank you both!!!
