I really enjoy working here. We have great employee’s who do very well with the residents. Everyone gets along. I am in the process of transferring closer to home, otherwise I would love to continue working here. The executive director and the DNS are doing a remarkable job. Such great people and working environment. I would definitely recommend Washington if you’re looking for good care for a loved one or if you’re looking for employment. I will miss this place. I’ve had a very good experience!

I'm a resident and have been, and continue to be, lied to, stolen from, (staff), and restricted from going to see my daughter (or just going out) on my OWN accord!!!

I'm NOT committed/court ordered to be here and yet the administration won't let me just leave/discharge!!!

The food is fine!!!

As to staff, generally speaking, competent and with that, some REALLY stand out and go further than just competent!!!

I have pictures of the sloppy nursing. Iv medicine all over the floor...old iv bag thrown on spare bed in the room,.used iv tubing shoved in the bed side drawer. Patient was found on 1 liter of oxygen which had orders for 3 liters but when I ask how this happened was told they wouldn't know what the patients requirements are unless the computer is in front of them which means the patient to nurse radio is way too high. No where near enough nurses! Not aides /techs but nurses! I have talked with the administration there ,emailed her some pictures nothing changed! the neglect continued. So with this facility please believe the bad reviews because I've seen it and have the pictures to prove it! Looks like most of the 5 stars they did get are from their employees. It's a joke! I'm starting here. PLEASE use a different facility for your loved ones. I'm reporting them to multiple health agencies as well as the insurance company. And to the administrator please don't respond to this review like you care now. You didn't do anything about it when concerns was expressed in person but make excuses. I really feel bad for the residents there.
May God watch over all the patients at this facility because the nursing staff is not!

Washington Healthcare is a great facility with amazing employees and residents! I would bring a family member here if need be! Whether it be for a short stay with rehab or if you're needing a Long Term Care facility I would definitely consider Washington!

Review from end of May 2024: Patient often not given enough attention. / In-house doctor interrupted patient's meal. When patient got back to eating, his food was cold.

Some staff are kind and caring, others are not,aides here get upset whenever you request your nurse. I couldn’t get proper treat,met as I woke tonight requesting a breathing treatment and my nurse said I had to wait until morning, had. Chest pain and didn’t get treated for it.

The administrative and nursing staff are professionals and sincerely care for their residents. It makes a difference when people takes pride in their jobs!

AMAZING staff! All very helpful across all stages of patient admissions process and internal care. Would recommend this facility to any family looking for a safe and clean senior center.
