Via Elegante Assisted Living Tucson Mountains

My mom has always been a strong character, it's been 3 plus years she's been a resident here, they continue to give her the best care, I couldn't keep up with my mom but they do and are mindful of her well being and literally thank God she's in good hands. It's a very nice atmosphere like the Hilton in most areas the staff is always happy and energy is great, always clean, they made sure my mom had friends she could meet up with that matched her culture, they have lots of celebrations and gatherings with really great people in the staff. Food is really good .. yes i took a bite here and there, never a plate but just to see, lol Whatever we ever needed they always have a person that's on it, very grateful ? if you tell the program director your coming with family for a special lunch she will put cookies with juice and flowers in the main dining room, it's such a nice thing to see as well, my mom loves her nurses and it seems like they pick a good staff that have stuck around❤?Thank you Via Elegante ❤️‍?hardest thing our family has gone through and we're blessed to be here ❤️

There are not enough words to convey the gratitude I feel for all of the staff at Via Eleganté. My parents have been residents there for almost 2 years. From the moment we arrive the staff made us feel welcome and went above and beyond to help my parents transition into assisted living. When I was having trouble getting the furniture company to deliver a mattress during business hours. The maintenance staff volunteered and actually went to the furniture company warehouse and picked up the mattress for us. It was such a relief and so helpful at what was a very stressful time for our family. This is just one example of the kind and compassionate care that all of the Staff at Via Eleganté show to their residence & their families. I work in healthcare and from the moment I arrived at Via Elegante knew that this place was special. The staff here have a real passion for what they do & it shows.

My mom is a resident at Via Elegante Tucson Mountains and the love and care she receives from the staff and care providers has had a very positive impact on her recovery. Her overall health has improved, she is happy and content. She loves sitting outside soaking up the sun in the court yard, as well playing Bingo, arts and crafts, listening to music, coloring in her many books, and on occasion chair yoga. During this past 18 months the staff at Via Elegante have worked very hard protecting the residents during the pandemic while also keeping them stimulated and looking forward to each new day. I appreciate all that they do and I am forever thankful to have found this wonderful haven that my mom now calls home.

Visited my ex-mother-in-law last week. I was very impressed with the facility accommodations - modern and clean - and no disinfectant smell! The staff was so friendly and kind and attentive. I witnessed several hugs from caregivers to the residents while there. Wish I was having lunch there - the menu is excellent. The activity schedule was filled with fun things to do and they were preparing for an all-July birthday party with decorations.

My beautiful Mom was Via from March 2022 through August 2022. She had the best care givers. Shelby played Bingo with them and when they won they got chocolate, everyone's favorite prize. Today marks the first year of her passing. There isn't a day that goes by that we don't Thank Via for the wonderful and loving care she got there. I want to do a special shout out to Ira!!! From the 1st day she met my Mom she knew she was loved by Ira. Ira made a bed up for us the last 14 days of my Mom's life. My brother, sister and myself spent nights next to her bed. They brought us food, drinks anything we needed. The day my Mom passed Ira made her transition so beautiful. I truly admire her for showing so much love to all of her residents. I love them all from the front desk to the chefs. You will always have a special place in my heart. Thank you Via!!!

Dear Via Elegante staff, I want to thank you again for the marvelous Prom you put on at Via Elegante! Shelby, when you first told me that was your next idea, I could hardly believe that could be done. You are so imaginative and creative! Several weeks later you showed me a beautiful invitation you gave the residents there. Shelby, even your preparations for the event were amazing. I thought, “but the people there don’t have fancy clothes.” You thought of that. You arranged with a local store to donate many items of formal clothing for the residents. Then the caregivers at Via Elegante let the residents select outfits to wear. (My Mom & Dad were excited about their prom clothes!) The day before the Prom, I commented to Ira about how beautiful the whole clubhouse looked. Ira, you said this was just the beginning of Shelby’s decorations, and there would be much more the next day. Even though the Prom would be held in the late afternoon, the clubhouse looked like a gorgeous starry night! It was so thoughtful of you to arrange for the families to watch the whole event on a Zoom setup! My sister in Florida, my sister in Tucson, and my husband and I all enjoyed watching it! Your staff was amazing at the Prom, too. So many of you were there, and you dressed up so nicely, too! Andy, we loved your tux! Andy, I think you danced with every lady there (many in wheelchairs)! It was fun to watch the Prom on Zoom, and say, “There’s Ira!” There’s Zach!” “There’s Vanessa!” There’s Amy!” and “There’s Shelby! She’s busy all over the place!” It was fun to watch the residents dance, too. Our favorite was the man with a walker who did some footwork, and who then let go of the walker briefly for his arm movements. You all did an incredible job. Shelby, you are an awesome lady, and a big asset to Via Elegante!

My 99 yo mom needed more care and Via Elegante has really been a gift. I find the staff is very attentive and kind with all the residents and each other. I can email them directly with any concerns and they are alway handled in a very timely manner. It is a big adjustment for any elder to leave their home and I must say this transition has been quite smooth. Thank you!
