The staff truly care for their patients and it shows with everything they do for them! I feel confident we left mother in the best hands possible for her rehab! The rooms are clean and tidy, the food is tasty and healthy.

While some of the floor staff have been wonderful, the business manager and administrator have left me feeling like this is a very dishonest place. All they seem to care about has been warehousing my mother in long term care, when she was admitted for rehabilitation with a goal of coming back home. Their goal has felt incompatible with ours, and all they have demonstrated a desire for was keeping her in long term care and getting as much money out of her as they can.

She has been denied getting out of bed on the weekends, denied her pain meds at least once, with her records being falsified about her getting her meds, she has been taken off all her diabetes medication and only given insulin, fed a regular diet and given sugary snacks which at on point put her blood sugar over 450. At least one shift, they never even took her blood glucose reading AND denied her any insulin at the same time.

I’m moving her out of there this week.

Physical Therapists are professional and knowledgeable. Nurses are caring and helpful. The facilities doctor is hard to judge as he was never present to me during my stay. It didn't appear that he cared much about the individual patient as my need for oxygen to help with my physical therapy after release never seemed to get his attention. I didn't see or talk to him the entire time I was a patient and I heard the same complaints from other patients. For the most part the CNA's were knowledgeable and attentive to patients needs. There were a few that were less caring but my main CNA was very helpful and good at her job (I highly recommend her)! She was very responsive. Overall the food was below average and obtained through low cost suppliers. Overall I found the experience to be underwhelming.

This is a very good place they have a very good staff they care about people they have a very good Physical Therapy Program I give them 10 Stars the nurses the CNAs the staff that runs this place are very nice and good people they treat you like one of the family if you want your loved one to get good care this is a good place for them thank you Van Buren Health and Rehab I can walk again I love you all

I strongly do not recommend this place at all. Weekly their staff is having covid breakouts. And that does even begin to speak of the way the residents are treated or rather not treated. My mother-in-law was there for a short time and got covid there and she has dementia. She was put in a room with no anything and left to her own mind. Left to sit and wet clothes on another instance for a weekend. And they lost her dentures and didn't deduct that from her bill nor offered to replace them. Out of the entire staff I think there is only two to three people including the upper management that are there who actually care. And the few nurses which are a very small handful if that their hands are tied. I contacted corporate over this and they did nothing especially about the rude person at the entry who was ridiculous and has no point in the even being anyone who welcomes anyone. A one-star is not low enough!

The kindest employees, the most efficient Administrators. This facility was bought out a few months ago and the difference is nothing short of amazing. We are grateful to have our loved one in such a wonderful facility!

Went seen my dad for the first time. Place looks so wore down. Wasn't clean. A lot of broken things. There were hair balls laying on the floor and different spots. It stinks so bad. And when my dad had an issue that needed to be done the young nurse was so very rude and gave us a dirty a look. I asked if she needed help she just started to walk off and said no and said something under her breath. Dad said he fell off the bed and layed in the floor what he said seem like for hours before anyone would help him. He said. This broke my heart. Who can I address this problem too? This is a place that really need someone to look into like undercover. Maybe they can fix the problems if they care enough.
