I'm here to give a shout out to this office and specifically to Dr. Bier. I have never had an issue with any staff in this office. They are prompt and friendly. They are helpful if I need to get in last minute as well. But let's talk about Dr. Bier. He is really the best possible version of a primary care doctor. He is efficient, as they all need to be. At the same time, he is super smart, thoughtful, comprehensive, and a great listener. He is a great thought partner for tackling ongoing issues, as well as at coordinating with other UCLA providers. I have been with UCLA primary care forever, and he is by far the best PCP I have had.

have been disappointed with the quality of care received at UCLA Health's West Washington Internal Medicine clinic. As a long-time patient of the UCLA health system, I expected better service from one of their facilities.
On my last few visits to this clinic, I have experienced excessively long wait times. Even with appointments scheduled well in advance, I've had to wait over an hour past my appointment time to see my physician. The reception staff does not provide any updates on delays or expected wait times.
The clinic feels disorganized and chaotic. On multiple occasions, the medical assistants have gotten my information confused with another patient. I've also had billing issues because of incorrect insurance being filed after my visits.

Be aware of UCLA clinics. They sign u up with primary doctor that is the most expensive on earth. No experience and charge like specialist. Every time I go, they find ways to charge you more. Every word you speak in that visit to your doctor, they will consider it as a service so you could end paying twice the price of a visit.

STAY Away they will not solve the issue if you complain to their billing department. They also the rudest people I dealt with. All of them.

Dr. Bier is the best!! He is always thorough, understanding, and extremely helpful. The whole clinic is great. The front staff are friendly and efficient. I always feel heard and respected here.

Ever since UCLA took over health care in West L.A., the quality of care has gone way down. UCLA Health is all about cutting costs. As a result, the offices are understaffed and way overworked. Try to call them. Go ahead. Try right now. You will wait 20 minutes before you talk to somebody. Any body.

They stack appointments so the doctors are always rushed and under tremendous pressure to "move the mail." This is not the way healthcare was meant to be, but it is the UCLA Health way.

UCLA also controls lots of other offices, but for some reason, the West Washington office is straining to keep up.

Came in for a physical and was warmly greeted by the front desk. Had the earliest appt 8am and was out by 8:45am. Super friendly , quick, and easy process. Parking structure is a bit small but I had no issues finding a spot. Office was clean and not too cold. I was very pleased with the services.
