"it is more like a prison"I was stuck in a room with a homeless crazy man which was bad enough. But then the weather was beautiful and they wouldn't let me go outside and actually locked us in a ward. It wasn't a dementia unit, I was just in there for physical rehabilitation and it was a nightmare. Because of this I will never go into a nursing home again, I'd rather die.

Nursing homes are always difficult but Twinbrook cares. Therapy department is excellent, nurses work their butts off to help care for patients. Keep it up!!

Terrible do not let your loved ones stay here they have giving me wrong medication 4 times plus my medication runs out and can take day or more to get refilled. I've asked to see the Dr. 6 times in past 2 months over my foot swelling and I haven't see. Him it's awful place I've been in 8 nursing homes in past 5 years and trust me you don't want your loved ones here they lie to residents I can't stand it here

I was a patient of this facility as of noon of 2/27/24 I personally signed myself out by 8 pm after witness multiple neglect poor behavior from staff and watching large amounts of piss multiple times being cleaned up from the floor only by using drying towels not once was cleaner used. I absolutely cldnt stand the way I saw things being done here. I feel bad for all the other residents not lucky enough to be able to leave when they are treated this way and forced to live in such environments.

go through the halls it has a bad smell and if you want to leave the building you have to put a code in the black box if you want to leave the building, thats stupid when you walk through the first floor it has a bad urine smell thats bad because thats were you can get the smell on your clothes, I will never come up at this Twinbrook nursing home again, it stinks like puke,don't have your family come up here, go someplace else, past around to everybody that you know, the food is cold, and the food tastes yulk,Twinbrook nursing home healthcare 3805 field st. I even heard that they take your clothes,

They don't return family members' calls whether that be a nurse, doctor, business office associate or other. They won't tell family members what medications they are giving patient and the doctor or a nurse doesn't call family members back about it either(as promised). They keep patient in a section that is inappropriate for them, such as Memory Care when they should be in Short-term care. They take too long to evaluate the patient and so in the meantime the patient remains in the wrong section. The hallways smell like urine. Clothes are thrown in a pile on the floor. The patients are not showered regularly if at all. They don't get the patient out of bed very much if at all. They don't make the patient sit up in bed and they allow the patient to sleep alot... and so they don't change the sheets either. They don't provide patient with a blanket or offer them a blanket. On weekends and holidays there is minimal staff and no phone calls are returned.

My mother has been in Twinbrook for three years now and every staff member, at every level, have always been extremely helpful. My mother gets very good care here from people who genuinely care. The staff are approachable and easy to discuss things with and always attentive to any concerns. The nurses and aids who care for the residents on my mom's floor are kind and compassionate. We've been very happy with the level of care and how the staff cares for the families as well.
