Oh please just go and see, give this treatment a try! 7x in 5 years hit in car wrecks. 14 years of pain management took me to probably 10 different Physical Therapy practices and SEVERAL of the larger Phoenix/Scottsdale pain management anesthesiology practices. Loads of steroid epidurals, nerve blocks & ablations plus scads of opiates - monthly appointments and after al that I was getting worse. "Nothing else to be done" and "med-seeker" attitudes galore. Thankfully (as a result of COVID procedure bans, Gov. Ducey's plan to reduce opiate deaths, and a fabulous sleep clinic) I was sent for spine surgery evaluations, and advised to get myself off the presciotions and injections to see where I stood. After 4 surgeries to have 6 discs replaced & fused and screws into SI joints, I did not want to go back to pain management, but I was in terrible shape in recovery because the 4 surgeries were done within 2 years with little to no rehab in between. I tell that story to show that patients can be uniformed about treatments. Total Sports Therapy Moon Valley is a small crew of doctors called Physiatrists, practicing in a small location with a very sufficient crew of assistants. These doctors resolved about 20 trigger point pains in 6 weeks - the pain management didn't RESOLVE those with 10 years of trigger point injections. The doctors perform manual therapies, after heat and then come the exercises. This practice is the first I went to where they did excellent hands on treatment, and the assistants are so well trained about how to properly do the exercises. Also, the exercise is not a huge "burden " of many sets and reps. It is kept short, say 20 of each, with a variety and always very focused on strengthening areas top prevent future pain recurrence. I have seen many athletic types, but also seniors (like me!), children, thjin, muscular or even obese getting fantastic personalized treatments. EZ to schedule, they take pretty much every insurance plan, and keep abreast of limits for number of visits. I travel from Glendale to Moon Valley for TST and I would NEVER choose any other place! The owner Rikki and my therapist Robin are the 2 lady docs there now, and they could not do a more excellent practice.

Great staff & Dr. Ricki is fabulous! My surgeon recommended Total Sports Therapy, & I've been thrilled with my progress. After my right total knee replacement, they added "pre-hab" to my left leg to prep for that surgery 10 weeks later. Their attention to detail & pre-hab made the second total knee replacement recovery faster & easier. Here I am hiking Lower Antelope Canyon merely 10 weeks post surgery!

This place is a scam. I was quoted $100 but was billed $150. I've done the exercises I was given for months and nothing has improved.

I was treated at this facility. I also tried to work out my grievances with this facility privately but was told nothing could be done. Now all of a sudden this facility wants to talk to me when I leave a review.

I have been to Total Sports Physical therapy for multiple issues bur the the most recent was for leg pain caused by my back. I saw Richelle, Ricki, and couldn't be more pleased. Ricki evaluated my back and was able to determine that a rotation in my pelvis was the cause. She used a series of manipulations and exercises to put things back in order. She was able to teach me what exercises to do when the pain reoccurred. Its been about 18 months and I continue to be pain free by doing the exercises. In addition all the staff is great and interested in how you're doing. I can't recommend them enough.
