Best dental practice I have ever used. I have had a lot of major work done over the years and visited many practices and Total Dental is the best. The entire staff from the Dentist on down to the front office staff are friendly, knowledgeable and a great team. Pricing is right in line with most offices I have used. Highly recommend.

I have crippling dental anxiety and have spent years avoiding dentists. This office has gone above and beyond to not only listen to my concerns, but validate them and offer solutions that actually help. I have never felt judged, and they've never told me they would "just do it quickly" the way other offices have. All of the staff is incredibly kind and understanding. I have never been taken care of so well, Dr. Harper was awesome with my tooth extraction. I felt no pain at all. He was very compassionate and made sure I was ok during the whole procedure. Coley assisted Dr Harper and she was just as kind and compassionate. I recommend Total Dental to anyone that needs oral care.

Sadly this was a bait and switch. Initial appointment made months ago, they said they took my insurance. Fast forward, (2) days before the appointment I get a text message that I am Out of Network and they can only accept Cash self-payment. I would have to self file with my insurance company, which involves postal mailing a stack of forms, and/or finding a 1980's fax machine, then waiting 4-10 weeks to get reimbursed. When I called the insurance company (and other dental offices), they said even if Out of Network, insurance still pays the claims if the dental office would merely file it electronically like 99% of offices do in 2024. So I call their Total Dental back and explain this, and they said they still need cash self-pay because they can't trust their patients to give them the check insurance mails. What?! I just wanted a simple teeth cleaning, and had they notified me months ago of their self-pay policy, I would have never made an appointment with them. Now, I will miss a cleaning for 2024 because no other local office has cleaning appointment open for the remainder of 2024 on such short notice. I wanted to like this place, but they have really let me down.

Also the amount I owed for the care that was needed in an emergency was financed and so easy I would recommend anyone and everyone use Total dental Care in guntersville Alabama.

Years ago I didn’t have a good experience with a dentist I went to. I chose to change dentist and went to total dental care. My anxiety was very bad because I don’t like going and didn’t have a good experience years ago. I received a call the night before I went in from the dentist. Which was very impressive. It helped my feelings.. They were Very sweet and friendly people.
