Truly excellent practice. For the avoidance of doubt, there are 2 sections where one is on the left when you enter, the other on the right and I am referring to the section on the right.
I have been attending this practice for over 25 years and their service has been excellent every time. This includes the availability of appointments, efficiency in handling prescriptions, test results and GP referrals.
My only regret is not registering my whole family at the time of my registration (registration is now quite difficult) as they are missing out on great service!

for looking after me so well, particularly at a time when general
practice has been under such pressure.

Fill out the online form when it opens in the morning. Whenever I have done this the practise has called me back promptly on the same day to confirm an appointment, often for the next day or within a few days. The GP appointments also happen on time, I’ve not had to wait more than a few minutes after checking in at the practise.

My mum uses this surgery and she wanted me to write a review about how happy she is specially with Dr. Azam, she feel blessed to have a doctor that cares, that listens and that does his up-most to give the best health care he can. He is one of the best gp’s here and wanted to also say a big thank you to him.

I’ve asked to see a doctor perhaps 3 times in the last 20 years; I don’t believe in putting a strain on the NHS if I can possibly avoid it.
Over the weekend I had to call 111 because I have been in a lot of neck and shoulder pain for the last 10 days and couldn’t sleep. The doctor at 111 was great: sent a prescription for strong painkillers to my local pharmacy, and sent my details and symptoms to Torrington. She said go there and fill in some forms to arrange an MRI and X-ray; which would take a few weeks.
The receptionist at Torrington could see the referral from the 111 doctor but insisted I had to join the 0800 appointment lottery the next to see a doctor. Assuming I could actually get an appointment the doctor at Torrington would tell me I needed an MRI and X-ray.
This place is a joke.
I didn’t want to believe the reviews already posted but clearly they didn’t exaggerate how incompetent this surgery is.

You have a better chance to win the Euro Million than making an appointment with this GP.
Phone never works and they do not accept walk in appointments .
That’s ridiculous that our tax payer money goes to poor NHS service

So hard to get an appointment, I had to try so many days in a row to request a sick note, and requested the sick note for 2 weeks but was only given a note for the first week. Now unable to get an appointment again to fix this and have not been paid for the days I missed at work due to illness. Why couldn't my request be granted? And why is it so impossible to submit a simple online form?

I've been a patient at this surgery for 30 years. It was an excellent surgery under Dr Brett and company, but it's totally mess now. The surgery's administration is beyond poor. Go elsewhere if you can.
