When l sought a therapist at this time in my life, I did so reluctantly. I had seen other professionals of different specialties, ages and genders. Some for no small length of time.

I put time, energy, money and my soul in the process. With David, I found the right mix of what I needed for a lifetime of anxiety and trauma.

David introduced me to EMDR and even after just one session I felt free of one of my most traumatic experiences. David has knowledge and expertise in a host of many treatment approaches. I never felt he didn't have something in his therapist "bag" that we could not explore next if needed. Yes, we, because we were in this together.

We also did some short term couples therapy that was very helpful.

I cannot say enough about David Keys as a therapist. I have always felt safe and found something I have searched for most of my life: empowered.

I have been treating with Dave for over a year. I have learned things about myself that I was totally unaware of and I'm learning how to deal with it with Dave's help. Telling stories is easy, opening up is difficult as hell, but it is a necessary evil that we are trying to overcome. My avoidance tactics Dave saw through even when I didn't.
