I am on my second crown with Dr. Habashi and I just wanted to post a review about what a skilled dentist he is. He is also a genuinely nice person and his staff is friendly and down to earth. Dr. Tice is caring and speaks clearly and kindly about what needs to happen. I’ve been a client for over a decade, but haven’t needed anything but preventative until today. From start to finish, they were patient with my sensitive gag reflex as well as my anxiety.
They are great with my teenagers, too.

I've been visiting Tierrasanta Dental for more than 16 years now and always had an exceptional experience. The care provided is top-notch, and the entire team is incredibly organized. Beware! Several times, I received an after-visit summary charging my insurance for x-rays that were not performed during my bi-annual cleaning. My insurance covered 2 X-rays a year, so I didn't press the issue. Recently, they told me that I had a small cavity that would cost me $750 out of pocket with insurance. They didn't give me any other options for fixing the cavity and insisted that I fix it immediately. After leaving the office, I contacted my insurance company and learned that there were several options that my insurance would cover 100%. Frustrated with the misinformation, I got a second opinion from a dentist who told me that I did not even have a cavity! If I had followed their advice, I would have paid unnecessary money for a procedure I didn't need. The dentists and staff are friendly but deceptive.

They are okay.

They have issues with confidentiality and HIPAA, and they try to deceive you into extra appointments by scheduling you for them without your input. I have to call them multiple times a year to cancel appointments that I never made.

About the HIPPA issue, it took several years and several points of feedback to get them to stop sharing my information with the rest of my family. I had to verbally, in their office, threaten to take action on HIPPA violation in order to get them to stop.

They have also had a ton of issues with billing. I am the last person in my family to still continue going to them because the rest of my family have found better, more reliable options.

I love this office! The staff are knowledgeable, comforting and supportive. They are wonderful when greeting patients as they walk in, especially since a dental office can be stressful. The dental hygienists are friendly and responsive to the needs of each patient. Dr. Habashi and Dr. Tice are the best dentists around. They are caring, knowledgeable and always put the patient first. Dr. Habashi has so much integrity and only hires the best!

Everyone at this office is extremely nice!! Appreciated how friendly the staff was and how they didn’t just try to push me to spend money but being honest about the treatments needed. My favorite dentist office I’ve been to so far!
