I had a helix piercing with a piece of jewelry that I was unable to remove, and I was able to get a same day appointment with Darnell. He was kind and professional, and he was able to remove the jewelry and even put in the new jewelry that I brought with me. Everything was so clean and bright and sterile. If I do have any future piercing needs, I will definitely be returning here.

Both Rob and his son Dave are both excellent tattoo artists. I love in Nc and Rob tattooed a Cardinal on my chest 13 years ago. Since then, many people from the area have come through my shop in NC and their tattoos from Rob have aged with perfection. He's not just a great tattooer and musician but a civic minded really great human.

This shop is wonderful with wonderful staff that really care about their customers and their community.

I recently visited Tidewater Tattoo to get what most people would consider a remembrance or memorial tattoo. This had been a long-planned piece, but I never felt quite ready. However, while getting a beard trim across the street, I happened to park right in front of Tidewater.

A few years ago, I had a cover-up tattoo done at another local shop. This time, I chose Tidewater, remembering that Massimiano's (Rob and David) had participated in a local civic leader event years ago. I thought then that I should give their shop a try.

David, likely noticing the dog tags I wear around my neck, recognized that this was not your typical memorial tattoo. He put a great deal of effort into perfecting the stencil design. I am extremely pleased with the result, and I know my friend who I lost that dreadful day in Baghdad would be too. This tattoo holds a deeper meaning for me, as it's not about helping me remember (God knows I can never forget what I witnessed that horrible day).

We had my 5 year olds ears pierced here. All of the staff was incredibly patient and made sure she had a great experience! She's obsessed with her new pierced ears and they have been healing wonderfully (4 weeks out). As someone who had my ears done as a child at the pediatricians and a mall store, I have been so impressed with the minimal discomfort and zero issues she has had with her new piercings. We will definitely be back when she gets older if she wants any other piercings!!

Came in the middle of the week in June to get two earlobe piercings, not busy at all. Very quick and painless & sanitary. Overall good experience! Easy to schedule.

Great artists, clean shop, always professional. Rob has done nearly all of my tattoos. He's award winning and been in the business for 34 years for a reason. Rugged outdoors vibe but always friendly. Clean line work, excellent color work. His Native American work is nothing short of masterful. I've recommended him and his shop to anyone I've known even thinking of a tattoo. I cross state lines to go to this shop. Totally worth it.
