My Aunt was moved into Sunrise of Canyon Crest last week and I was immediately greeted by a wonderful staff. Everyone made you feel like you were a part of their Sunrise family. My mom is almost 101. She gets excellent care and understanding. The food is very good and my mom gained a healthy weight after being here for a year. She likes the caregivers and feels they are her family.

The activities at Sunrise are particularly well organized... My Mom is in memory care and honestly was never a big participator in activities but I think it really helps her to be included in what they do. Jakina, Crystal, and Jocelyn are so sweet and caring; always encouraging my Mom to do crafts with them, help with seasonal/holiday projects, dress up for birthdays/holidays, etc. They take the memory care residents out to different places for lunch on a regular basis and it undoubtably helps them to feel like they're getting new experiences, which is important for their well-being. My fam and I are truly grateful that they take such great care to make sure the residents are mentally stimulated and getting much needed interaction and experiences beyond the basics!

This is our second experience with Sunrise. Our Mom stayed at Sunrise after a heart attack (for about three months). Now she has returned at the age of 100! Every wonderful thing we remembered from our first time with Sunrise was awesome again! Amy and the entire staff have been amazing! It’s an emotional journey for sure and the staff makes it as easy as possible! Our Mom is getting settled in and we enjoy hearing from her all about the nice people (residents and staff), and the great activities…Garden Party, exercise classes, etc., and the good food!
Thank you to everyone at Sunrise for taking such special care of our Mom!

We looked at a dozen places before my Mom chose Sunrise at Canyon Crest. It's a small facility, which really makes Mom comfortable. The apartment she has is just right for her. The staff are attentive and kind. My Mom isn't much of a joiner but staff now have her coming out and participating. Sunrise had the best Covid experience for residents and families. Everyone was safe and families still had access to loved ones. Thank you Sunrise for easing my stress and taken such good care of my Mom.

Mom moved into Sunrise almost a year ago after spending 90 days in rehab for a broken hip. She was so excited that her own furniture made her new apartment feel very much like home. Mom Loves her big picture window that looks out over the beautiful park like setting with flowers, trees, birds and patios for her to enjoy. We are more than grateful for the professional staff from Housekeepers to Case managers who keep us informed on Mom’s care. She enjoys talking about how the staff, activities and dining room friends (that have become family) bring joy and laughter to their cottage. Her meals, medication and health are being monitored daily and we are informed immediately if there is a issue. The cottage, her room, laundry and personal hygiene are always kept clean and fresh. It’s not easy to make the Assisted Living move for your loved one, but it’s the best decision we’ve made for Mom. We can rest easy knowing that Mom is in good loving, compassionate hands and she enjoys her new apartment.
