We were traveling from Las Vegas to Albuquerque and needed a place to stay along the way. This park was just the location for a mid break stay. Small park run by very nice people. They have full hookups and some pull through which was great. They have 2 dog runs and a play area for kids.

For a KID-friendly RV park this is the best. Huge open areas for bike riding. Huge pool with 3 hot tubs. Fishing lake. Paddle board/ kayak lake. Tons of paths for getting around. Showers were in buildings with 7 or 8 individual heated rooms, each with a sink, shower, toilet, bench and shelf. They were very clean and had no smell. The park is only about 30 min from Rocky MTN National Park's West entrance. After 2 pm, no reservation is needed. So spend the morning fishing, then take a dip in the pool, grab lunch then head in to the park for a full day. Grand Lake is also a short drive. We rented a pontoon boat and spent 3 hours expiring the lake views including Ospreys and their nests, lots of other birds, and even a MOOSE! One thing I wish they would change though. The pool area doesn't have a dedicated bathroom close. You are supposed to walk around tot he fitness center on the other side of a large building. There were very few people getting out and using the restroom. Infer what you will. The pool water was pretty cloudy by the afternoon. 🙄 On the whole, as expensive as it was, for a once a year trip with the grandparents, parents and grandkids, it was enjoyable and worth it

This is a great place to stop for over night. It's closest to the Petrified Forest National Park. The couple running are great and very helpful. I was sick when we got here and they offered to help my wife set up. Then we needed to stay longer and they work it out so we could. They are done improvement to the RV Park. If we come this way again we will stop here, again.

The owners from the 90s helped my mom and I out. The older gentlemen took us under his wing. This place holds good memories for me back in the early 90s.

Great spots and hosts. Everything was in order on the lot despite them not officially being open yet. Even let us leave the trailer there for a while ton explore Petrified Forest before heading out for the day.

Nice place to stay, the owner's put a lot of work into the place. It was also great being so close to the petrified forest national park. There's some highway noise, but it was a laid back place with helpful people at a fair price! Will stay again next time I'm on I-40!
