I just had one of the most unpleasant experiences at St. Luke’s I’ve ever had in the five years of going there. Nurse practitioner Jessica Kemmerer is by far the most rude, arrogant nurse I have ever encountered in my lifetime. I went to st Luke’s because I have burning sinuses that has spread to my chest it burns when I breath and cough to the point of seeking medical attention which I don’t do unless I really feel unwell. She said it’s allergies when I questioned that she asked me “what school did you go to” “ I’ve been doing this for 10 years” “ I’m 32 years old” never once did she take a stethoscope to my chest to listen to my breathing. I am honestly blown away by how rude she was and cannot believe how someone so rotten works in the health sector to help people.

Everytime I had to be seen, everyone was so friendly. I never had to wait that long to be seen. Place is neat and clean. I would recommend this place to anyone who needs urgent care.

I went to get a physical for my permit and they forgot to sign it. They had 1 job. To do the physical and sing the paper. Was that really so hard? Set me getting my permit back weeks because the PA who needed to sign it went on vacation, of course. They insisted on holding onto my physical paper until the doctor could sign it and said they’d call once she did. They never called and instead I’ve had to wait for an hour on hold. I can’t believe I wasted my time going there. Update: they lost my physical, no surprise. What an unorganized urgent care.

My daughter and I went to the Urgent Care recently at Saint Luke's in Mount Pocono.
She needed to see the doctor or nurse practitioner on site.
My daughter is pregnant . We followed their protocol and filled out the pre-screening online patient information.
Thereafter, we were called by the receptionist. My daughter related her issue to the receptionist.
Instead of allowing my daughter to see the doctor and/or the nurse practitioner herself the ill-informed and foreign front desk receptionist told her that she cannot be seen. The front desk receptionist related my daughter's medical complaint to the doctor and/ or nurse practitioner on site that. Without being seen they decided not to see her. WHAT TYPE OF FACILITYIS THIS
What the hell are these people are talking about? We are not uneducated and uniformed people who don't know our rights! Was this a color issue? We are not ignorant to the LAW!
"ACCORDING TO THE PATIENT BILL OF RIGHTS ALL PATIENTS HAVE A RIGHT TO BE SEEN!!!"
READ THE PATIENT BILL OF RIGHTS AND ADHERE TO IT!
The nurse practitioner later came out after l made a fuss about their conduct.
If these are the faces that represent Saint Lukes Hospital and/or Urgent Care, then they have lost us as patients!
If something was to have happened to my daughter after she left this Saint Luke's Urgent Care as a pregnant woman we will have absolutely no problem in suing them!
The standard of care here is below acceptable as to what is expected in the medical field!
Don't go there! I which l could of given them a negative -50.
I will be following-up and taking this further

Brought my child in at 1:30. Was told there was a 45 minute wait by the receptionist. That receptionist leaves around 3pm and a new one comes in. After waiting 3 hours and watching everyone that came in after us go, new receptionist told me it was the computer system. Then she said there were more urgent patients. Which is it?

I tried to ask questions, and was continually cut off, being told I already said what I had to say.

Another patient walks in and is amazed about the 3 hour wait. I told the new patient that they forgot about my daughter.

Receptionist “Un excuse me who’s talking to you, no one”. Rude. I let it go

Finally seen by dr. Dr prescribed the incorrect medication which was fine. Went back across the street from the pharmacy to the dr.

Was greeted by the awful receptionist. Very kindly said I’d rather not speak to you and talk to someone in the back because she was so rude. As I’m calmly explaining why I’m upset, she’s getting louder and louder.

Val, don’t work with people.

I've been trying to get seen because I fell on my head, and they keep messing up my appointment, everytime I come in, they have said, you missed your apt, you don't have an apt, your name isn't in here, but my papers from my first visit and apt scheduling all tell me when but they keep changing it without telling me. To be in medical you have to take an oath not to hurt people. I'm getting more hurt every day, my life is ruined. I've never seen such disgraceful professiOnalism.

I went in for arm pain and numbness. Told the front desk woman all my symptoms felt like i pulled a muscle. I've been to other urgent cares where right in the begining before you pay they said I should go to the ER if it was something they couldn't take care of. Instead they took my money (100$) took me back weighed me checked my vitals (which my vitals were normal) this was something I could do myself at home then told me there was nothing they could do because all they had were xrays that i should go to the ER. They could have told me that before I went back. all they wanted was my money. I normally don't go to doctor's often but I was really uncomfortable and felt something was wrong. I will not be going back to this urgent care. Hard to find any thing good any more. I DONT recommend
