My husband and I are in our 70’s and fortunately have been healthy up until the last few months. Last year my husband was required to undergo hernia surgery and about a month later bladder surgery for a cancerous tumor. Dr. Goldsmith in Urology was exceptional- our first appointment with him consisted of testing and then a conference, at which time he explained the entire procedure to us and completely set our minds at ease. His confidence and professionalism made us feel that we were in good hands. All went exactly the way he described it and he sat down with us after surgery to assure us that my husband was going to be fine. A regime of immunotherapy was set up as a precautionary measure and follow up scans were performed and all is well!! Dr. Goldsmith was extremely kind and always had a smile - his upbeat personality can’t be beat!!

I have had nothing but awful experiences with this practice for the last 4 months. All Dr Widmer wants to do is refer you out to a specialist, and has had the office cancel scheduled sick appts on me more than once. MyChart messages go unanswered for days and voice messages aren’t returned in a timely manner. I’m thankful to have specialists who return my calls personally within an hour or two, where as Anderson has the medical assistants relay messages, one of which, Ciara is extremely rude and condescending. Despite a documented allergy to a generic drug Dr Widmer repeatedly called in my prescriptions wrong on several occasions. Twice within the last week she both called in the type of prescription incorrectly and wrote the wrong dosing instructions causing delays in filling them. The straw was yesterday when I ran into a problem filling said prescription since the name brand is now unavailable… Dr Widmer relayed a message again through the MA’s right before closing (when I had called at 9 am) and told me she didn’t know any other prescription medications and to just call my midwife and ask her. So thankful for an amazing midwife who personally returned my call within 10 minutes and troubleshooted with me over the phone until we had a solution we both felt comfortable with. That’s healthcare. Now I’m on the hunt for a new primary provider…

Everyone is so friendly and welcoming at this office! I usually see Dr. Widmer, she's by far one of the best family Dr I've been to. She takes her time and actually listens, cares about her patients. St. Luke's all around is great, I've always had really good experiences with all of my Drs here.

I have never had the absolute displeasure of working with a Primary Care Physician as I have had with Dr. Vanessa Eiswerth. She not only disregards her patients genuine questions, but then pawns you off to every specialist possible. She will refuse to treat or prescribe for any medical problems. After filing a complaint with her, I had no choice but to give her office one last try. Again, I was let down; it was my mistake to have any hope. St Luke's as a whole has become an organization that loves to simply point fingers, telling you that another office is responsible for your care. I couldn't even get Dr. Eiswerth to entertain the notion of refilling my life saving epi-pens without her forcing me to see an allergist I haven't seen in years. The trip resulted in an ER visit, to which I credit her entirely for. I have had anaphylaxis since birth, this Dr. will not do anything for you, nor speak with you when you are dissatisfied with your care. St Luke's should revisit her employment entirely.

Susanna Widner want's a malpractice suit. She incorrectly filled out a script to not include "as needed" for my mother in law. This is a script that she may need to take twice and not once. Her doctor and surgeon told her and myself that taking more then one a day was allowed. Now since the script was written incorrectly and she can't get a refill. The doctor is saying there is nothing she can do and to suffer for the next month till she can get it refilled. She and I both asked for a retraction of the current script from the pharmacy which can be done then to rewrite the script the right way so it can be refilled. If this response isn't dealt with by tomorrow I'll be seeking legal counsel.

This is an amazing group of doctors who really truly care about patients. They spend time with you in appointments. They are very easy to access and are extremely responsive when you call for referrals or any questions or concerns. While this is a new practice these women have great knowledge and are not new to medicine. If you are searching for a PCP look no further!
