Springdale Village: Nursing Home | Skilled Nursing Facility, Assisted Living & Independent Living Apartments in Arizona

I wouldn’t send my dog here. I spent a week here and it was a nightmare. I had a broken femur and the nurse forgot to order my medication? I was told I didn’t have to cover my Picc line before I shower by a nurse who wouldn’t help. When I was dropped off here from the Mayo Clinic the van driver dropped my papers from the Mayo Clinic to the receptionist then he took me to the room number we were told. He put me in bed and left wishing me luck! Nobody ever came to see me!!! It got dark quickly so I laid in the dark with a broken femur and no way of getting out of bed. I finally called the front desk with my cell phone that luckily had a battery life of 10%. When the lady answered she said they forgot about me. She apologized and gave me food that was in a chair for hours and said it was my dinner. I was so hungry I ate it with my fingers. To make a long story shorter I complained to the director after asking to speak to him for three days. I told him I filed a complaint with the State licensing Board and he whipped out a shiny badge and said he didn’t care because he was the president. I found out later he shouldn’t have had that badge because they stripped him of it previously. He then sent me home with no IV for my infection that same day because he was mad at me. You can’t make this stuff up! Worst week of my life. If my infection comes back I will sue him and Springdale for negligence. I am not a vindictive type of person but he shouldn’t be in this line of business. PS. The poor old ladies just cried all day because no one would help them go to the bathroom. They looked to be pretty drugged up too. The first night there they couldn’t find the emergency cart and someone died.

Im a registered nurse and worked a per diem shift in skilled nursing yesterday. BEWARE please do mot send your family here. This is the worst place you could possibly imagine. Patients in pain, no pain medication ordered. Patient vomiting no medication. Most patients were missing some or all medication. Administration and Director of Nursing nowhere to be found. Patient reported a broken rib that allegedly occurred during therapy. It became so bad that I had to threaten to call the police department. 5 years of nursing I never seen anything like it. I was then asked to write a false report regarding a patient falling twice the night before I worked. I refused to do so. There is so much I could say. PLEASE do not send your family here. I will be providing the state of Arizona with a full report. Other nurses are too. NOTICE TO FACILITY: Do not attempt to smear my name, retaliate against me or provide a false narrative that denegrates my name, character, or reputation. This is notice that I will file a lawsuit for retaliation. Im sorry to all the patients suffering there. To all patients that posted a review, Im sorry you all went through that nightmare.

Do not place a family member in this facility! Springdale Village is under staffed and communication with facility management regarding care, pt/ot services, and transportation is terrible. Springdale Village on Broadway near Power is a ghost town being run by Allegient Healthcare from their main facility at Broadway and Val Vista.

My Aunt lives here and is 88 and lives in the independent living area. She uses a walker. She picked the 2nd floor because of the elevator. She is now so limited now because the elevator has been down since July 3rd. Does not seem right!!! Elevator is broken again….

Springdale Nursing Care Facility has the worst nursing staff and care I have ever experienced. My mom was at this facility for weeks and her final days of life. She was under hospice care for the last 2 days to make her passing peaceful and comfortable. I was by her side and couldn’t get the medication administered when needed and found out the morning of her passing that she was not given all of the medications she should have been receiving. Do not trust this place with your loved ones!

My 87 year old Mother has lived at Springdale since 2019. She lost Her Husband last year, which reduced her fixed income. The rent will have a significant increase next month and the dining room has closed, meals must be picked up in styrofoam containers, with a very limited menu. Her apartment does not have a dining table as meals were eaten in the “Bistro”. Now most are eaten on her coach. Lunch and dinner were a very social time for my Mom. We are forced to move my Mom, who struggles with change since my Dads passing. What is going on with Springdale, many residents are leaving, quite possibly the goal of the new management. Another atrocity of how our Seniors are treated and respected.

I must say so far I'm very impressed with the facility as well as the health care workers they employ. I was really sceptical at first sending my dad to another skilled nursing rehab after his second go around in the hospital from the poor care he got at Montecito. Springdale employees have put my fears to rest and I know my dad is getting the care he needs and deserves. I visit my dad everyday and I love the feeling I get when I walk through the door. It's such a homey feeling. Everyone is so nice you can't help but feel like family. It's always so clean and smells fresh and I love the fact that throughout the facility it's all decorated for Christmas. My dad has taken a liking to a few of the girls that care for him.. they get his sense of humor and joke around with him. Thank you for taking such good care of my dad. I'd also like to add that within the week he's been there he is now walking with assistance and a walker and that's huge after being told by the first facility that he'd never walk again. I'm eternally grateful for everything you've done for my dad
