This establishment is extremely disappointing. I accompanied my elderly friend on her initial visit today, and Dr. Mik entered the room, displaying immediate rudeness. His behavior toward my friend was unacceptable, implying she was seeking inappropriate treatment. Recently hospitalized for a stroke, she faces memory issues, hearing loss, and comprehension difficulties, prompting her to request repetition, to which Dr. Mik responded, 'I'm done with you; you're not my patient' I find it astonishing that he would make such a statement, considering her circumstances. His demeanor and patient care skills are severely lacking, demonstrating a disturbing absence of empathy. His behavior raises concerns about his suitability to practice medicine, potentially warranting license revocation. Never in my life have a come across a doctor like him. Avoid avoid avoid

I see Dr. Pav, and she has been wonderful. I do get regular injections-and find her to listen well, be compassionate, and she explains things well. It can take awhile to get an appointment, but I'd imagine a lot of people request her, so it makes sense. I also have to add that the office staff really went to bat for me to get my botox injections for migraines approved.

The worst experience ever. Allergic to pain meds. Asked doctor what options are there and he said “I don’t know.”. Got up walked out. THIS MAN SHOULD NOT BE A PHYSICIAN! Horrible demeanor. Couldn’t understand me. Awful awful! Negative star review!

When they made an error on my pain meds the office wouldn't take responsibility even though I had proof. Stay aware Dr Mic should not be practicing medicine! They don't communicate with your doctor's!! I'm going to a new Pain Management and South Hills Pain management is shorting me 3 days of pain medication. No respect for patient.

If I could give a 0 review I would. They're extremely rude and don't treat their patients with any respect. I went there for 6 months and NOT ONCE DID THEY TAKE MY VITALS OR EVEN EXAMINE WHERE MY PAIN WAS IN MY ABDOMEN! I changed insurance companies and had my first visit with UPMC Pain Management. They took my vitals like they should and examined the area of pain. One visit and was given dosage amount of medications, plus they have a plan on treatment. I now feel like I'm back with the living. South Hills pain management took away my quality of life. Dr Mik told me he was insulted I questioned their treatment. As a patient I had every right to question them especially since I was getting worse instead of better. AHN and the Medical License Board really need to investigate this practice!

happy to patient for several yrs trigger point injections and controlled substance for pain. every : months injections on shoulder. covid struck me and many appts were cancelled sorry. for this the unprofessional little twirl of a receptionist did not care for me. so boo hoo i was not welcome. fine u can be replaced. Doc. time to move on. my. recommendation. keep. going

I saw Dr Mik a little over a week ago. I have been a patient of his for many years now and he is a life saver for someone with IPS (intractable pain syndrome) or any other pain syndrome. I see him at least every 3 months and we have worked out a treatment plan of medication, epidurals, and rhizotomies that control my pain level and manage my pain issues. His skill level for injections and rhizotomies is second to none. If you see him and really want to work at managing your pain vs just getting pain pills you are in great hands.

I would leave a negative 5 stars if possible I went there for pain management and seen Dr. Mik he started out nice then got really rude when I asked him why he was being so rude and unprofessional he told me I wasn't his patient I said that's why I'm here is to be a patient he got very rude at this point all he wanted to do was injections even though I had them years ago and they didn't work for me. They want to do all these so they can charge ur insurance. They did a urine test before I even seen the doctor so he said I wasn't a patient but still sent the urine sample so they can charge my insurance. Hes rude and ignorant I left there with no medication and he didn't care he just said ur not my patient just leave. I looked at the reviews before I went and thought it couldnt be that bad but I was wrong he was by far the worst doctor I've ever been to and should not be practicing medicine. I plan to complain to the medical review board and the office of professional conduct for doctors....
