I went for a regular cleaning and XRays. They told me I have 3 cavities and offered to fill them that day. Something felt off so I declined and got a second opinion from another local dentist without mentioning anything. They took X-rays and said I have no cavities! That my teeth looked great. Do not trust this place.

Hygienists and dentist were very friendly and I felt like we received very thorough cleanings. We were unable to re-schedule when they asked us to do so - they took great care of us nonetheless. Would definitely recommend!

I didn't have a great experience last time I went. While I was getting my teeth cleaned I felt like I was drowning. There was so much water going straight down my throat and the air suction was put right against my cheek so my jaw was numb. The front desk and dentist are always great. It just wasn't the greatest this last time.

From my initial visit for emergency services (seen and treated same day) to a follow up for front teeth fillings (left with literally a brand new smile), I can't begin to express how grateful & impressed I am with Dr. Mina & her staff. It was a great experience from start to finish.

Updating November 2024: The great experiences continue and a special call out to Cassie, Kelly, and Dr. Mason. For me this year, I have had to several challenges with my teeth. However, everyone is always welcoming and do their best to help me. In regards, to Dr. Mason, the BEST dentist I have had over the last 60-years. Dr. Mason always takes time to explain everything to me to help make informed decisions together and takes time to ensure I am comfortable in the chair. It is the first time, I truly relaxed while in a dentist chair.

I appreciate that this dental office offers 7 am appointments, which is fantastic for those who need to see the dentist before work. Additionally, there are one or two hygienists and front of desk staff who are truly great.

However, my experience here has been largely negative. On more than two occasions, my appointments were canceled. I had to remind the hygienist to take X-rays, and I frequently waited over 30 minutes before any work began due to staff shortages. Although this improved somewhat in 2023, the last-minute cancellations were the final straw for me.

On one occasion, after a cleaning, the dentist didn't even see me, and the hygienist simply sent me on my way without reviewing my X-rays or providing any summary notes. In previous visits, I was strongly advised to get a crown on a molar even though I had no current issues with the tooth. Being in my early thirties, the suggestion to get a crown for potentially 40+ years felt like a clear cash grab.

Finally, after my last appointment was canceled and I decided to find a new dentist, I requested my dental records to be transferred. They ignored my first request, and after my second request, they sent two X-rays and no written records.

Overall, while there are some positives, the negative experiences outweigh them for me. I hope they address these issues for the sake of their future patients. I will miss the 7 am appointments, but I am happy I found a new dental office that is efficient and friendly.

I’ve been coming to Smile Exchange for about 8 years; and I have only ever had positive experiences. The staff is incredibly nice and take their time explaining details to you that most other Dentist offices would not. Cass is one of the best dental hygienist I’ve ever had. Very general, thorough and she is SUPER personalable. As long as I’m living in the Malvern Area, this is the only Dentist office I will come to.
