She was incredibly accommodating, making sure that all my paperwork was in order and even squeezing me in for an appointment that fit perfectly with my schedule.

I had been putting off seeking a new dentist. The dental experience if you are of a certain age- was formed back in the 1970s and it was not at all patient centric. Creating a fear of dental work for me for years. From the initial interaction with the front desk via email Jessica was 100% professional and helpful. The dental hygienist Amy was one of the few who explained step by step what to expect and what was happening during the traditional cleaning. Very in tune with asking your permission and asking if you need anything. Super compassionate. Dr. Affara was also amazing - this time was just so easy and made me feel like I can handle any future dental work with this team.

I have been going to Dr. Affara for 5-6 years. He is kind, gentle, patient, professional, and personable. He is also an expert at what he does! I trust him implicitly. Everyone in the office is a pleasure to work with. I learned the hard way that there is no one out there that's better. I have had the distinct pleasure of working with Dr. Affara and his team for my dental needs. The whole experience of going to his office is efficient and pleasant. His receptionist is accommodating, responsive, friendly, and communicative. She makes every effort to reschedule appointments when either myself or Dr. Affara is unavailable and contacts me by text which is incredibly helpful for someone like me who has a hectic schedule. He also has a magnificent team of dental hygienists, each one better than the next. I have personally had Emily and Nancy and they are two of the best hygienists I have ever had. I went to my old dentist for 15+ years where I grew up and their hygienists felt like family to me. Dr. Affara's hygienists have made me feel at ease transitioning from my familiar dentistry team because of their warmth, professionalism, knowledge, and gentleness. I also always enjoy the conversations I have with them (even with all the equipment in my mouth!)

Dr. Affara strives to make the dentist's office a comfortable experience for everyone who walks through the door from the staff he employs to the homey touches he adds (heated cloths, head pillows, and blankets!) Going to the dentist is obviously not most people's favorite experience, but Dr. Affara makes it far more bearable than other offices. Dr. Affara himself is innovative, creative, friendly, funny, engaging, thorough, attentive, and talented. He always takes the time to make sure I am feeling okay during his exams and takes the time to give thoughtful, evidenced-based, and practical solutions to all of my dental problems. I was blessed to receive the recommendation to come here from my boyfriend and his father who both have been seeing him for decades and I could not be happier with their suggestion. I have since recommended him to my mother who constantly raves about how happy she is with his service, especially when she needed to get a minor procedure done that was not done correctly by other dentists. The fact that I can entrust my mother's healthcare to him speaks volumes to just how awesome he and his team are. Thank you Dr. Affara for being an integral and effective part of my healthcare team; you're the best! 🙂

The best in the business by far. My crown (which I got done somewhere else, prior to being referred to him) fell off and he came in from home to repair it on a Friday evening. Secretary Jessica is also very accommodating and you’ll feel at home every time you visit.

Dr. Affara and his staff are wonderful. Our entire family goes to Smile Designers. He is so courteous and gentle. He kept checking in with me during my procedure. His hygienists are so kind. One hygienist make a child so comfortable during his cleaning, the child asked the mother when he was coming back.
From the minute you walk in, the front office personnel makes you feel so comfortable. The reminder service is so convenient. The office is incredibly clean.

Dr Affara has been absolutely AMAZING! As a dentist and as a person he’s just incredible. I remember the first time I went there he applied lip balm to my chapped lips while doing a cleaning and I knew he was the dentist for me. He’s been so helpful over the past few years as I’ve had quite some issues with my teeth. He’s very kind and cares about his patients which can often be rare to find. Definitely go see Dr. Affara, you won’t regret it!
