I am Virginia Ball. I rate Silverwood Post Acute 5 stars. Your physical therapy department is so awesome. I came in barely able to walk. I am going home able to walk with a walker. There are many other things I am now able to do. The nursing staff is also great. So, I leave so many friendly men and women with regret.

I would like to express my gratitude to all the personnel at Silverwood. They have been nothing but amazing in helping my Uncle recover from his accident. Everyone there is friendly and very hands on. The Physical Therapists are so supportive and caring. I could not have found a better place for my loved one. Any time I have a question or concern they are there to address it. The nurses, front office and office personnel have been so accommodating.
Thank you for all your hard work. ?

I can not begin to say enough amazing things about Silverwood. I needed a place for my mother to do rehab after almost losing her. I read the reviews and there were some bad ones and it made me question this facility. I walked in and I spoke with Rebecca. She gave me a tour. After the tour I decided to have my mother sent there for her rehab. I can not believe that anyone would give this place a bad review. Rachel was so helpful with things we needed to do for my mom. Dave, l don’t have enough time to talk about how amazing he was. The day time nurses. They treated my mother with so much love and care, like she was their family. Nighttime nurses were just as amazing. My mother is home now and all she talks about is the wonderful nurses that took care of her and how amazing they were. If I had to score this place on 1-10 I would give it a 100. I highly recommend Silverwood for your loved ones that need a special place for long term and short term care.
Thank you to the most amazing staff at Silverwood Post Acute from the entire Hoyt and Rivas family ?

My mom went to Silverwood Post Acute after a total left hip replacement.
The facility was clean, no smells, and the staff, administrators and physical therapy department were all very friendly. I chose Silverwood mainly because it is about 5 mins from my home. I was there daily to visit and monitor her care; which I feel is very important for anyone who has a loved one in rehab. The food was pretty good, but Luke warm to cold much of the time.
Staff was good at communicating if they couldn’t get to her right away and eased her mind that they would be back to address her needs as soon as they could. Also, when asked, they were very helpful in getting her things she needed such as a raised toilet seat and an air mattress for her bed.

I recently had a family member in this facility for rehab. I also had a grandparent a few years back in their long term care unit. When they describe this facility as being under new management, this is a major understatement! I realize no place is ever perfect, but let me tell you I was impressed this last time I was recently there. I walked the hall and it smelled clean, looked clean, you can absolutely tell the staff really cares. It is truly hard to find a nice clean facility where the staff actually listens to you and will go out of the way to accommodate.

I visited Silverwood Post Acute recently. I am considering where my parents may need to go soon. I was happy to see the facility was very clean and the staff is very attentive to patients. The new management at the facility genuinely care about the well being of the staff and patients and work overtime to make sure this facility is completely up to state standards. This is somewhere we would want our parents to get the great care they need if we cant take care of them ourselves. I highly recommend you take a good look at this facility. It is the new best skilled nursing facility in the valley! Go down there and meet them to see for yourself!

In January, we were told by the management at Silverwood that they understood they did not have good reviews but were under new management and would be improving and addressing any/all concerns. With that, we decided to have my husband taken there for rehab from the hospital. On the night he arrived, care was severely lacking: confusion on check-in, no vitals taken (with a person suffering from significant blood pressure issues and instability), room not ready, staffing issues, etc; and the odor was overpowering. In the 20 days my husband was there, we did see some improvements; HOWEVER, in the first few days, a number of clothing items were (mistakenly) taken to their laundry and never returned. We were told repeatedly that they would find them or compensate for the loss(es). They repeatedly promised but even when we left, no resolution; yet, they still promised to find the items or compensate us. Now 4+ months later, still no resolution or response to calls. The “newest” administrator is never available and his vm box is always “full”.
