My precious husband was a resident of Shiloh for 7 years. We made many beautiful memories and friends there. He recently moved to Heaven.
I wanted to tell everyone that Shiloh is a very wonderful place to be for you or your loved one. The staff are very kind, loving, and dedicated. I've made many lifelong friends at Shiloh and continue to visit at least weekly

My dad was a mess mentally and physically and they brought him back to his own self! I am so grateful for the staff and the exceptional cleanliness and professionalism.

When I was 43 I had a near fatal car accident in 2010. After my release from the hospital I still needed nursing care and rehabilitation to get strong enough to go home and learn how to do daily life in a wheelchair and walker for a total of 18 months before I could eventually have a bone graft surgery for my leg so I could walk again. The staff, nurses and especially the PT and OT staff there was amazing and helped set a good foundation on what to do for my full recovery later once my last surgery was finally completed. I was thankful for the service given and lasting friendships made and would recommend them again to others!

I was visiting someone here and one of the women working there was one of the rudest individuals I've ever encountered, Marley the assistant DON.
Someone had been suspected of taking drugs into this facility. So on my visit, I walked in and looked around briefly, didn't see anyone at the desk so I continued on into the room as I have done the previous two times I've visited. Shortly after, a worker is standing in the other pts room watching me and my brother visit a pt. She gets a phone call after ten minutes or so of standing there. She comes back and is immediately rude. Her body language, slamming her fist into her hands and throwing her hands into the air at one point, was unnecessary and unprofessional. She is being rude saying we walked straight in there. I told her that I hadn't seen anyone so I entered the room as I always did. She's using huge body movements to reenact us walk into the building and "b-line" straight to the room stating we didn't even try to find anyone. I don't argue with her, I know it will do no good. She continues stating we need to visit in the common room or be pat down. I told her we would gladly get pat down that we didn't mind. She throws her hands in the air and says "Im not searching you. I'm not a cop. I'm not getting poked by anything in your pockets. That's my pt you two are not." I am getting upset at this point. I tell her I am trying really hard not to get defensive or offended by what you're saying right now. If we need searched, could you please get someone to search us. She responds so hateful! She said, "I am. I'm going right now. I'm on my way." But she never moved. She continued to tell us we could've hid drugs anywhere in the room at this point and the entire room will have to be searched. I do not use drugs, and I am very offended at this point. We were asked to leave the room until someone could search us. No one came so she walked in and told the pt to go to the common room. Pt has a broken back and has to have a brace to sit. I said it's okay, I'm upset and I'll just leave. I went to the desk at the front and asked if I could file a complaint. They pointed me to a nurse. I walked over and asked her when she had a moment if I could speak to her. She was polite and listened. Another nurse walks up, she interrupts and tells me it was her hall and I could make a complaint with her. The woman I am complaining about is standing at the desk staring me down. I finish, not feeling that I was taken serious. I ask if there was somewhere I could make a complaint. The nurse said you just filed the complaint with me. As she didn't write anything or have me sign anything, I was not satisfied. She let me know I could write it out on a piece of paper. The woman I'm complaining about waves a paper saying I have a piece of paper.
This was unprofessional. I am not happy with this service. I understand following rules and I was more than ready to follow them. There was no reason she should've acted that way as I was complying fully.
