I brought my mom in for dentures. Had and still having insurance issues. But the whole office has been so nice and helpful. We are still working it out, but I highly recommend Dr Shaws office highly. Thank you!!

Dr. Shaw was my instructor at Pitt dental school ( I am also a dental care provider) and I chose him to do my dental work as soon as I graduated from residency and had a job so I could pay for it! Now, 20 years later, it is all in perfect condition. I have sent friends and family to him and I can honestly say I refer to him with confidence. He is a wonderful dentist who is also a caring human being who gives back to his community. Thank you Dr. Shaw for being great in so many ways.

Lots of closer dentists for me but I refuse to go anywhere except Dr. Shaw’s! He’s just a nice guy and good at what he does…but Katie is my hygienist and she’s my favorite! All the other girls are great as well. Best dentist office in the Pittsburgh area. ❤️

Dr.Shaw is the BEST dentist I have ever went to in my life. I am one who never liked & absolutely dreaded going to the dentist and one day a friend of my families recommended him and I have been going to him ever since. He is one of the nicest people that I have ever dealt with and the people who work for him are so nice and kind and gentle. If you are looking for a dentist in this area, do yourself a favor and go to Dr.Shaw you will not regret it

I am one of those people that has been avoiding the dentist at all costs, I havent been in over 13 years, well on a Sunday definitely wore a tooth to the nerve and was in extreme pain. I called the office and shortly received a call from Mark Shaws wife who was helping out with answering calls, she was extremely nice and got an antibiotics and pain meds called in quickly. I was lucky enough to be fitted in Monday the next day for a cleaning and assessment, Katie, the hygienist, had the most calming demeanor and made me feel so at ease, there was no "oh wow there is a lot pf plaque", she was very wary of my pain and was amazing. Dr Shaw then came in and proceeded again to make me feel like i had been a customer for years, and scheduled what Im hoping is not a root canal but a patch. Awesome place, great people, i hate the ordeal of the dentist but they made me feel relaxed and very thankful that they took such effort for me a non customer/patient and definitely made me not wary of the dentist and even scheduled my next cleaning as i will definitely be returning and keeping my teeth in good shape.

I love Mr. Shaw’s office! Kindest staff ever, not rude, and not scary to kids at all! (I am a kid don’t mind me) but I love going to the dentist! Best dentist by far!

Dear Dr.Shaw,
My UPMC is paying for bridges, twice a year for cleaning and other dental work. So I have to go to these places now which will be there in my areas.
You have served me long enough. You mentioned that you let me now what your plan will be with my problems and how much it will cost, but you never did.
